HCG stress

Hi everyone! I’m wondering if anyone might be able to share some advice with me. I’ve been having some hcg tests after my bfp last week. I’m extremely anxious due to a recent mmc and can’t seem to stop the worries every minute of every day. I’ve also had some blood yest which has sent me into a spiral. My recent hcg is worrying me and I guess I’m just looking for some reassurance. The hospital didn’t seem worried but that doesn’t stop my brain going into overdrive. Here’s my numbers:

10dp5dt: 378

14dp: 1667

17dp: 3677

Any help will be much appreciated xx

Hey, I’ve never had a BFP so I’m not much help but from what I’ve read I think as long as your HCG is doubling then that’s great! It looks like yours is going up well. Congratulations 🥰

Thank you! And thanks for taking the time to get back to me. I think I was worried as I think the final one should be higher 🙈 I hope you get your bfp soon x

Thank you lovely 🥰 Give the hospital a call and just explain your worries, they might be able to explain the numbers better but I’m sure there’s nothing to worry about. ❤️

Are you on the pregnancy support after treatment forum? That will probably help you most with these sorts of questions and you'll get lots of helpful responses. But on the anxiety, I had two early losses in a row and I completely understand the anxiety after BFP - I also did a lot of tests then I moved on to private scans as I just wanted to know sooner than later if something was wrong so I didn't get my hopes up. But your numbers look great - they're roughly doubling every couple of days which is the important thing. I think the numbers vary so much but mine were very similar to yours on the one that worked. I hope that gives you some reassurance.

Thanks so much for sharing, I really appreciate it! I haven’t managed to find the forum you mention (I’ll keep looking), and will just stayed in this one until I have my 7 wk scan as there does seem to be a lot of posts about this type of thing here. Thank you for sharing, that really has helped me♥️♥️ X

Those numbers look great. You want them doubling every 2-3 days, which you’re doing just fine. Congrats on the BFP! Xx

There's a website that has loads of historical beta numbers that can be quite useful at showing you that you're in a normal range - and also showing how huge the variations in HCG are between women.

Have a look here... betabase.info/index.html

Best of luck X

I get your concern. The main thing is Hcg levels are increasing thats a good sign. U could always contact early pregnancy unit and explain your concerns. I found when I had concerns I explained that I had a miscarriage previously and I'm very concerned I was given reoccurrent assurance every time I asked.

Hiya, I've had 2 IVF pregnancies and both times my HCG levels were on the low side and I always had to come back to the clinic 48 hours later to repeat the bloods. As long as it doubles in that time it's alright. Both my pregnancies progressed (I'm currently 20 weeks with my second miracle). Good luck xxx
