Hi I have chronic migraine, very sensitive to all medications. Have been offered botox but quite scared as could cause more issues and fibromyalgia pain is through the roof. Have had a bad migraine for 4 days no medication anyone gotvany ideas or been through similar.

On the other hand, being triple-positive at high levels and with bad chronic migraine including stroke-like symptoms makes me feel that I am probably at high risk for a clotting event. I have already been taking low-dose aspirin for years because of higher stroke risk due to migraine with aura.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anybody is struggling (and this for years) with chronic migraine and chronic sore throat/chronic tonsillitis. I have come to think that part of my migraines are caused by an underlying chronic infection. As usual, blood tests are fine.

My neurologist said this may be helpful for my chronic migraine. I have a good feeling about starting this medication as my Mum has used it in a different circumstance and she found it very succcesful. Looking for those who have tried Lamotrigine to treat migraine!!

But can anyone understand the problem if your new life is daily chronic migraine, which after three years is unrelenting. The neurologist has just told me there’s likely to be no change. He also said they were likely to get worse as the brain shrinks as you get older. I’m late 50’s.
