Bleeding at 6 weeks

Hello

Super stressed right now.

Finally got a positive after FET. Hcg reading 14dp5dt was 2140.

Have been spotting last hour with lower tummy ache.

Nurses getting me in tmrw for a scan but has anyone had this? After my previous experience I’m just seeing miscarriage ahead.

Hello lovely. I had plenty of cramping in the first weeks of pregnancy and some brown spotting also. All was well xx

Hi my lovely, I’m currently 5 weeks and 3 days post FET with a BFP. I had clotting yesterday and red bleeding little cramping for about an hour. Called the clinic and they said it’s very common and I shouldn’t be worried. Told me to carry on with meds and I have a scan on Thursday. The nurse did say ivf cycles usually have this. I don’t feel positive at all. I feel like I miscarried. Anyone had the same experience? Xx

I'm exact same time as you - 5w, 4d - went to EPU on Saturday for a scan and they said all looked as it should for that point. But a little early for heart beat... My spotting has stopped - I had for about half a day every time I went to loo.

My nurse said same as yours - apparently cyclogest in IVF can be the culprit, even if you are taking rectally. And yes they said its different to miscarriage, they said that would be filling sanitary pads, and you just have to wait for viability scan.

Which is both good, and still a hard wait.

I think given that its stopped you too will be okay.

Did you have the bleeding and clotting too? It only lasted an hour maybe less but was a lot. Which makes me worried. I guess I just to wait it out they are scanning me on Thursday now so hopefully everything will be fine. The progesterone I put in are vaginally so that could irritate it too. Yeah red bleed. If it’s stopped it sounds like it’s linked to the medication, hope Thursday good! Xx

And clotting? They were big mine were so instantly thought it was tissue or the sac itself but I have to keep positive 🙏🏼🤞🏽 How are you now? Xxx

Hello ladies I’m currently 5 weeks and 3 days post FET my first cycle. Yesterday I had a heavy red bleed passing clots and cramping. I’ve expected the worst. I rang the clinic who told me not to worry and that it’s too early to do anything . The bleeding stopped after sn hour but was heavy. I was wondering if anyone has experianced the same thing? Xxx

Hi, i am 6 week 3 days pregnant with Fet, yesterday i bleed 2 times bright red with big clots, today i did scan ..in scan fetal pole present with heartbeat 💓. But concern is big clot around baby ( i e hommerrhage something) . Bleeding stoped now but doctor did changes in medication and told totally bed rest... hoping everything will be fine...

Wow this sounds promising! I’m going to be 6 weeks on Friday. I did a pregnancy test which still shows pregnancy but I know the hormones can stay in the system for a while. Did you have cramping with the bleed and clots? Xx

Thank you, doctor told if bleeding then bed rest will help..so I am completely on bed rest now ..so try to take rest as much as possible..

I will too, did you have big clots and heavy bleeding? I really hope everything is okay. I had frozen cycle too. Looks like this is quite common. Do you have cramping now? My bleeding has stopped so fingers crossed xx

Bleeding stoped now, yes red blood with big clot..i thought it's embryo only and finished everything...but it's clot only. But now also 1 big clot around baby..that is risky. So worried about that thing.. bleeding will happen may be placenta detach in some percent from wall .so rest is required.

Hi Rkaur, is everything fine? U did scanning? Hope everything is fine. I am on completely bed rest now and my next scan sheduled coming Thursday.

i had spotting/bleeding at 6w+6, 8w+5, 9w+6. Was tensed everytime and had a scan to check progress. All was good with the baby and currently at 12+3. So hang in there. hope all goes well with your scan tomorrow.

Hi Babyrainbow, thanks a lot, my baby is fine and heartbeat but hematoma is still present..m on bedrest only from 3 weeks. Lot of medications...whn u stopped ur meds? Currently 9 week pregnant..
