I can't cry or shed tears!
Hello Everyone, I have a great concern about my eyes. I can't seem to cry at all or shed any tears! That worries me so much! I used to be able tp cru when I felt the need to do so but now I can't. My eyes seem dry...very dry! I didn't have this problem until I started taking and stopping that beta blocker

High and Low Cortisol
I did a saliva test and found that I have low cortisol in the morning, high cortisol in the afternoon, normal in the evening and high at nighttime. I have been working on my adrenals, taking Vitamin C, B complex, fish oil, Celtic sea salt, meditation in addition to vitamin D3, magnesium, k2 and

I haven't ran for almost two weeks. I intended to give my body a break over Christmas as my joints were sore so thought a break would be good. Now i don't feel too motivated for my run which I'm planning for Monday morning. Anybody feel like this? Also I'm thinking of trying cod liver oil for the

I know some people may disagree with me but I have completey stopped taking my antidepressants. I am a very natural person who likes to use natural products on my body. Over the course of 6 months I have switched all my skincare products to more natural brands. I look at ingridients of things such as

Castor Oil Packs???
I’d like to ask if anyone has tried
Castor
Oil
Packs? I’ve heard excellent reviews that they do work and can help detox the liver and help heal the thyroid. I’m interested if anyone has had any success.

Things we’re doing
So since the diagnosis of stage 4, and after he was almost completely debilitated.. we have done several things in an attempt to keep him healthy and to fight this from the inside out. Just wanted to share the things we do.. - only drinks water, nothing else.. only distilled as too keep all of the impurities

Happy London 😊
Hello.. I am so happy to be back even if I am totally crippled with pain 😃 you have to laugh.. Taking those two trains, lifting luggage etc finished me off. Took paracetamol. I immediately went to the Healthfood shop yesterday morning and stocked up on my goodies but I may have to reach for the rescue

I have had OA for about 10 years, it accelerated with the onset of menopause. The combination of lower back and fingers caused me to take early retirement coming up to 2 years ago. Just coming out of a really bad spell of a flare, have spent a few months thinking it was RA as had raised rheumatoid factor

WP Thyroid warning
So I recently bought WP Thyroid because it apparently only had two inactive ingredients: inulin and medium chain triglycerides. So I received it and took some today, and had a very bad allergic reaction. After reading the instructions it also has lactose monohydrate in it. It doesn’t state this on

"New" non-statin lipid lowering drug?
In Australia, we don't get much TV advertising for drugs (unlike the US where it is rampant!) - but advertising for a drug called RAYDEL ( Policosanol ) has started. I note that the Company uses the word "may" when promoting it's product (this should always be read as "may - or may not" . This study

Not RA
So seen the rheumatologist today, all the aching disformed joints are osteoarthritis, dry mouth, throat, cough & 1 dry eye to drink water, get eye drops. The raised rheumatoid factor he wasn't worried about or the raised pv. So good news in a way as do not require dmards, but still in pain and nothing

What Brand Of Statin Are You Prescribed?
I understand that the NHS has approved at least five statins for prescription; Lipitor, Lescol, Lipostat, Crestor, and Zocor. However, the only brand I hear actually being prescribed is Lipitor, a member of the "atorvastatin" family of statins. Is anyone being prescribed a different statin, and in particular

B12 INJECTIONS
Hi- I am a 26 year old female and I recently found out that I have low b12. My labs showed 210 pg/mL and normal range was 232-1245 pg/mL. I did not begin experiencing symptoms of what I hope is only b12 deficiency until I was given Prednisone/antibiotics for a sinus issue (had a horrible horrible horrible

New diagnosis
Hi, I have been going to my GP for over a year with fatigue, headaches, blurry vision and joint pain. She said you are a working mum, what do you expect. I pushed for vitamin tests and I thought I had reumatoid arthritis so asked for antibody testing. She phoned me with the results to say I didn't have

MMA and homocysteine testing - have I already messed it up by supplementing?
Hello there, As a bit of background, I'm 30 years old and I've been suffering from a range of symptoms including fatigue, headaches and tingling for over a decade. With no interest from any GPs I ordered tests from Blue Horizon a couple of years ago which showed I have hashimotos (although the doctors
