Asthma / heart
Hi I’m in a bit of a pickle here because I just don’t understand what’s going on. I was diagnosed with late onset asthma last year after a couple of years of seasonal allergy stuff around this time of year. However I was afterwards diagnosed with a heart problem from birth ie a valve defect. I have

World Asthma Day
It's world asthma day (1st May) but funny enough I haven't heard a mention anywhere, not on tv or anything. But if it was a different awareness day, it would be on the front page and loads of money would be raised in schools etc. but no not for asthma. Has anyone else noticed how little attention asthma

Is it Asthma or something else?
Hi, my son had a virus in January which left him with a bag cough. After 10 weeks of steroids etc the nurse said it was Asthma. However after 3 weeks on blue and brown inhalers he is getting worst. Sniffles, cough constantly and not just with exercise. Could he be allergic to the inhalers?

I was recently found to have had an increase in my blood pressure, despite already taking Ramipril which had seemed to be doing a good job. So I’ve been prescribed an additional BP control medication, Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. There are various negative side effects, ankle swelling being

So frustrated
So, I’ve had asthma since I was about 15 (am now 40 something!) have been really struggling to control my symptoms and the clenil I take makes my mouth so sore I have to periodically stop taking it. When I stop taking it I then have to use my ventolin at least 10 times a day and during the night. Asthma

Can you skydive if you have asthma?
I am just wondering if people with asthma have done skydives. I have done an indoor skydive and I was fine and I loved it. This made me want to do a real skydive, but was just wondering if people have been able to skydive with asthma. My asthma gets triggered most when I go from a hot place to a cold
