The beast is back but we have a plan and I asked about why OC recurs so often as I promised I would x
CT has shown ‘cling film’ like tumour over a part of my bowel, I had a stoma during surgery and it’s still working ok but my Ca125 has risen again from a couple of weeks ago Onc said no tumours in any organs, bones or infiltrating bowels and no ascites (phew) and had my daughter, sister and I in stitches

Severe asthma and lots of attacks (? Allergy related), any advice during wait to see consultant?
I had a really fast, severe attack (pretty much ok to totally unable to breathe in about 15 minutes) in December, with similar symptoms in Feb and March - akin to
brittle
asthma
, and I also get a skin rash alongside these attacks.

Guidance for colleagues - brittle asthma
Does anyone have any resources that they could share when the guidance is aimed at
brittle
asthma
, and it literally says just phone 999 and don't freak out?

Such a shock, sorry it’s a long post
I do have
brittle
asthma
so sometimes it is a little harder than usual to breathe. It turns out that I had pneumonia, and my bowel had stopped working and I have cellulitis. The biopsy confirmed that I have stage 3c ovarian cancer.

New member NW England
Hi there, I am in NW England, aged 66 and had Bronchiectasis since I was 11 and asthma for the last 30 years but it is only mild asthma. Hoping to learn from others and hopefully help others too.

Asthma or Panic Attacks?
I am 32 and I never have been diagnosed with asthma, but it has been feeling hard to breath lately. Now I do have panic attacks, but it can feel hard to breath even when I am calm. How can one tell the difference between genuine asthma and panic attacks?

wanting to work when you have lupus
I am long term unemployed getting ESA and in the support group. I worry that when I have to change to UC that I will be declared fit for work and would like to find something I could do before that happens. I find the stress of trying to convince people I have health problems is affecting my health and

Newly diagnosed
Hi everyone, I’ve just been diagnosed with asthma today after a recent trip to the doctors. A few weekends ago, I felt severely out of breath and couldn’t even walk slowly whilst trying to talk at the same time. This was completely unusual and so when I still felt this ill on the Monday, I took a trip

Other reasons for wheezing
Hi i was diagnosed with asthma when I was very little but now my respiratory consultant is questioning whether it is actually asthma because I'm on many medications and the wheezing still is an issue What else can cause wheezing, tightness and other asthma symptoms ? I've never smoked in my life I

Asthma?
Hi I was recently diagnosed and also had a month follow up appoitment as well. I had a cough for a couple of months previous to going to doctors (hence why i went). They diagnosed 'asthma' using a Spirometry test. I performed approx 10 % better with sabutimol. The nurse said to be technically diagnosed
