I have been given naproxen, is it safe to take with having difficult to treat asthma

Naproxen
I have been fine with it and I have severe freaky poorly controlled asthma, but then I already know I am fine with other NSAIDs like ibuprofen, diclofenac and aspirin. Have you taken those before and did you notice any effect on your asthma? Sensitivity to these isn't a given with asthma but can be serious so good to be cautious. I believe it is more likely to be an issue if you have sinus problems too - people with asthma plus sinus issues or nasal polyps seem more likely to be sensitive.
Can you ask GP? Or maybe AUK nurses?
You should be ok with it, but beware of taking it for long periods. It is a strong drug and has side effects. I took it as prescribed for 9 months and it gave me colitis. It didn’t affect my asthma at all.
I think it all depends on the individual. I am fine with ibuprofen and naproxen but I know many people with asthma are not.
It made my asthma quite bad, but I know other are OK with it. It brought back my childhood asthma 😔 I hope it helps you
So far I have been ok, I was just a bit worried. I had been of work november to February and have difficult to control asthma, and I know I can’t take ibuprofen, I am always just really cautious, as a few tablets I have taken in the past. They have had a bad effect. X
