Smooth sailing
Hello heart warriors! Just wanted to give you all an update on mums recovery. She’s doing great. I spoke to her this morning and she sounds a lot more like herself, the pain is less intense today and she’s able to walk around to use the toilet and she’s sitting in a chair etc. There is a little bit

I appreciate you guys reading my stuff and giving me advice. Talking to people and asking for help is helping me out. Doing deep breathing exercises has helped also.

Vulvodynia
Hi everyone, I've been suffering from vulvodynia for about 2.5 years now, which is the same length as my relationship so we've only experienced pain-free sex once. When it started, I thought I was getting a UTI because I hadn't that long ago been stuck in a cycle of UTIs, antibiotics, and thrush. However

Sleep Maintenance Insomnia - 3am racing heart awakening
Hey guys, so here is my brief story, I am 33yrs old, never had health issues do not smoke/drink and before insomnia was running marathons, for 3 years I have had some difficultly sleeping. It has always been easy to get initial sleep onset but I ALWAYS awaken between 2-3am. When I wake it feels that

Coping with Anxiety - Chest pain
Hi everyone, This is my first post on here, I wanted to try sharing how I feel in an effort to see if anyone else happens to be going or has been through similar. I would say that I am an anxious person as in, if there is reason to get anxious, I will get overly fixated and anxious regarding the subject

Zoladex Headaches and Sexual Health Psychologist
My Zoladex headaches are absolutely horrendous these past few days. I feel like I’ve been on a 10 day drinking bender. Feeling more and more useless and emotional as my symptoms get worse. I’ve been given a trainer at Psychosexual health counselling to use. Which involves trying to train my body to

Anxiety & Breathing
Hey everyone! I’ve had anxiety for most of my life now but I’m starting to get the new sensation of not being able to breathe. It’s almost like I forget to. I know breathing problems and anxiety are very common but it’s new for me. I woke up in the middle of the night last night in a panic because

Week 5 Run 3 - Only gone and done it !!!
Was trying not to be apprehensive about this run but I was, having to run 20 mins non stop but up at 6.30 dressed and out the door. Stretches and few breathing exercises before I started (thank you to this site for the tips). First 5 mins of the run I found the most difficult and then started thinking

Do Breathing Exercises Help you?
Has anyone been ‘regularly and consistently’ doing breathing exercises - for at least a few months - to see if they help with Asthma - if so - what’s your verdict? If the exercises are definitely helping, which type are you doing please? As things are somewhat hectic just now, please accept my Thanks

Breathing exercises
Hey everyone, whenever i get panic attacks or just general anxiety, i tend to start deep breathing , like very deep quick breaths until i get dizzy sometimes, it always helps and my bp and stress levels always go down, now my question is this safe ?
