Cravings - Friend or Foe... How do you see yours?
Looking at cravings... They really can be quite funny things, do we see them as the enemy and get all negative about them because of the way they make us feel? Or do we see them as our friend, and welcome them in when they come visiting? At the end of the day, they wouldn't be here if we didn't

When the cravings get going...
What happens when the cravings become too much? Here's a few things to try that can help you through these moments; 1. Stay Positive :-) It really is important to remain as positive as possible as this can affect your whole outlook on everything. Feeling negative is understandable, however,

Exercise induced asthma, nose breathing, advice please
I have asthma which in normal everyday life is not a bother but when I run it's so annoying. I have a ventolin inhaler and use it before I go out but I'm finding I need to use it a couple of times when I go out. I'm concerened about the coming cold weather and have been doing a bit of reading. Everything

After the first 5 minutes the pain in my calfs had subsided and i was just plodding along in my own world. The kids were alongside me on their bikes babbling on but

Cough, cough, sneeze, sneeze!
Thankfully I didn't get too bunged up but surprise, surprise my usual cough has appeared so
breathing
is not very successful at the moment, rather limiting
exercise
. I had done W2R1 on last Tuesday and went to step aerobics on Wednesday and then that was it.

Breathing Exercise (1) To help calm a craving down...
Using a deep
breathing
exercise
is an effective way of calming yourself down. This exercise can be done anywhere from sitting down in a chair to waiting for a bus.

Cancer does not like oxygen but loves sugar.
Hi everyone , after reading other blogs about health supplements and diet it made me remember what I was told when I was first diagnosed. A hospital specialist I had been seeing for years for my chronic pain and fatigue told me that cancer loves sugar it feeds off it, so knowing

My visit to the Brompton and Bronchial Thermoplasty
I saw another physio the following day and she was much better, told me that my
breathing
patterns were ok and that I coped well with the
exercise
. Sorry for the rambling, but it has taken me almost a week to be able to come on here to post as I was so upset.

Week 6 runs done - Personal Forrest Gump moment!
My
breathing
got a bit hard; just done a
breathing
exercise
I've learnt during this program and settled back in to it. I feel like I can run the world! And obviously the cats are fine, during the 'not dying to scratch the itch desperately' frame of mind I opted for the vets visit :)
