Suffering from Anxiety
Hello to you all. My name is Jeremy. Since June 2017, my life changed and it has been a struggle each and every day. I thought I was having a heart attack on July 3, 2017. I went to the e.r. and the tests showed no heart attack, I left the e.r. still having chest pains not knowing what in the world

Mum has severe COPD and now has pneumonia.... any advice?
Hi there. My mum has severe COPD , lung capacity between 20-25%. She was diagnosed 5 years ago. Has been a heavy smoker since she was 8 years old and is now 58. She still continues to smoke. And just 2 days ago she got diagnosed with pneumonia..... I googled the combination of this disease with COPD

Low-grade symptoms
For the last couple of weeks, I have been having constant low-grade symptoms. I would say on a scale of 1-5 that it hovers around a 1, sometimes a 2. It is a constant light pressure on my chest and getting short of breath doing simple things like trying to clean, going up the stairs, etc. During classes

Chest pain during and after exercise, breathing difficulties, belching etc.
Hi guys, I’m 17 and a male, and I have recently been having chest pain and difficulty breathing for the last several weeks. It began as I said, a few weeks ago, and was just mainly breathing difficulties, feeling as though I was going to suffocate if I didn’t take a deep breath, and would continue for

Thoughts on “mass market” supplements
I fully accept that some have responded that they don’t find benefit and all I can say is run a flat out 5 mile run after a month of taking them daily - stop them for 2 weeks and repeat
exercise
and just feel how different
breathing
patterns are.

Die Insomnia
I started an exercise routine during the day, drink decaf coffee until noonish, drink camomile tea at nite, turn off the tv and phone before bed, and do a relaxing
breathing
exercise
before bed on top of taking prescription meds to knock me out.

Exeter AF Support Meeting - Notes on Managing Anxiety
Sometime ago I asked members for their help and input in putting together a short talk to present at a local support meeting for newly diagnosed AFers and lots of you chipped in - thank you all. The meeting happened today and hopefully it will be run again in about 6 months or so. Several people asked

Ibs and mental health...
Just struggling at the mo with anxiety and stress. My ibs is most definitely stress related. I have two young children and the other night one was up all night teething. I got virtually no sleep and my ibs symptoms got worse. This confirmed what I thought was a trigger for me, stress anxiety and sleep

Possible thyroid issue?
It feels like this is physically restricting my
breathing
(even when I’m relaxing, deep breaths hurt). When I
exercise
or play sports, I start to feel panicky like I’m desperately grasping for air that I can’t physically bring in. I do not smoke.

Hello Heart Warriors, I’m Home!
After seventeen days in hospital, fifteen post op I finally made it home on Saturday. Well, that was an experience, I am thinking of designing a new board game titled Grandma’s Heart Surgery. I was in theatre for nearly nine hours as my surgeon tried three times to repair my mitral valve, each time restarting

Yea I have mental health problems similar to the one's people mention. For me anyway, after spending a lifetime on Benzoes, I find that I go for regular brisk walks and do breathing exercises, and talk to people that I meet in courses that I do, that way you can break the cycle of staying in the house

Supplements that help my asthma
Hi All. I have had asthma for about 18 years now. It started out very mild and has progressively gotten worse over the years. I have had several trips to the ER but only one hospitalization over these 18 years. I write this to you because doctors will constantly throw medicines at you but never talk
