breathing exercises
I bought a contraption on Amazon after watching two doctors on youtube talk about this
breathing
exercise
device that helps strengthen the lungs and improve oxygen flow.

My IBS Team Sheet – Are you breathing correctly? (How it helps my IBS and anxiety)
In the mean time why not spend some time researching into how doing some
breathing
exercise
could help you manage your anxiety that will in turn calm your IBS flare up! Remember you will never be able to get rid of your anxiety completely as it is part of the human condition.

My IBS Team Sheet – 1. Muscular pain in chest (How I manage)
Simply by 'leaning in' or focussing on the tension and using a
breathing
exercise
and mindfulness I soon become calm with the knowledge that the tension will pass. [i]
Always here if you ever want to chat about how to manage your IBS symptoms from someone who has IBS.

Another wild night of trying to hang out while mom's drunk because i don't have a room. Plus why i don't want to attend Al-Anon
She was drunk yapping. She was watching a movie and she was telling me how bad the villain did. Like it's a movie - if there's no villain, nothing happens, also you don't write the script. She gave me tasks today and i did them all. But i had to throw the rubbish. Finally i got tired of her and i thought

Back Again
Hello everyone, sorry in advance for the mammoth post. I was last on this forum about 7-8 years ago in 2015/2016 after my previous symptom free asthma flared up badly and left me very sick (back on inhalers, steroids, and multiple hospital admissions). We managed to get my asthma back under control

What I understand about my life. What happened to me and from what I can piece together from such little memory.
My whole life was controlled by fear and trauma. I have CPTSD. I grew up basically with an ostracized feeling. I had 5 angry dysfunction brothers with lots of alcohol and drug use and all way older than me. My youngest brother was 6 years older than me so we never shared a grade together. My mother was

My Anxiety
Hello All, I'm writing this as a means to vent in hopes it will help me get on track. I've had terrible anxiety since childhood. For a long time I just muscled through it but the older I got the harder this became. I have serious social anxiety, yet I doubt any of my friends or family actually know

Causes Of Breathlessness
My asthma used to be simple. Periodic periods of tight chest and breathlessness. Then it worsened and they diagnosed asthma, many hospital visits later and i got up to severe asthma with poor control. Then I realised that my breathlessness was not simply asthma. There were very sharp attacks that

PGAD relief tips
Hi all, I am reaching out to see amy tips you may have for relief? Currently lasts 24 hours a day, worst is at night but never goes away. Its very distressing and I cried again today as am just so exhausted. Have seen a urogynacologist and am now trialling HRT patches (hysterectomy in 2018) plus estrogen

getting by, 1 more day (almost)
I'm having so much trouble regulating emotions these days. It hurts. I've tried to work on this, learn, and practice this, but it remains difficult, and probably especially now as I've felt in a depressive spiral these past 6 weeks. I thought I was beginning to bring myself out of this. But today

Exercise
I wondered how people approach exercise to try to maintain their fitness. I am going to a respiratory physio as too much exercise tends to leave me rather fatigued and asthmatic. So I decided that my normal approach of pushing it, needed modification, so I sought advice. The physio has helped me improve
