Was trying not to be apprehensive about this run but I was, having to run 20 mins non stop but up at 6.30 dressed and out the door. Stretches and few breathing exercises before I started (thank you to this site for the tips). First 5 mins of the run I found the most difficult and then started thinking of what I was going to do for the rest of the day, didn’t have the music too fast as I slowed my pace down (sure a snail actually past me) 🐌 (pace was 8.50 km) but do you know it doesn’t matter because when it had finished I felt I could of carried on. I have posted this for other people about to do this run that it CAN be done whether that be first time or repeating the run and be PROUD of your achievements. Go slow and steady.
