Hello heart warriors!

Just wanted to give you all an update on mums recovery. She’s doing great. I spoke to her this morning and she sounds a lot more like herself, the pain is less intense today and she’s able to walk around to use the toilet and she’s sitting in a chair etc. There is a little bit of an irregular heartbeat but it’s not a major worry and can be dealt with using medication. Other than that everything is perfect. Mum is doing breathing exercises and huffing every hour to keep the airways and lungs clear, painful but managing well.

At the moment we’re expecting her back home on Tuesday. ♥️

Glad everything is going so well. Bet she’ll be glad to get home and start her recovery proper - I always struggled to sleep when in hospital, despite using earplugs. Onwards and upwards 😀
