Bowel issues
I'm devastated and hope to find out next week what the options are but from what was said it seems only surgery as an option, otherwise I end up with
bowel
obstruction
. It will mean having a stoma.
Bowel
movement already affected so I don't think they are going to hang about.

Low prealbumin, low B12, high homocysteine , high thyroglobulin
Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Got a call from doc. Well good news is that my liver is fine. I had few well targeted tests which costed pretty much nothing which by the way angers me as these tests proved the fact that I am not healthy!!! I am now recommend to take B12 with B6 as my homocysteine was very high.

Change of Medicine
Hi everyone wonder if anyone has any advice what I should do. I have COPD and been taking Spiriva 18 mg capsules together with Salbutamol for around 2 years. No problems with either and am used to them. I have just collected my 2 month repeat prescription and see that they have given me Braltus tiotropium

Back and forth with the doctors- looking for advice!
Hi I'm Kelly, I discovered around 5 years ago that during my period I would get rectal bleeding. The blood is always very red and quite often very heavy (sometimes so heavy that I would have to wear a sanitary pad day and night and the amount of blood from both passages was equal). For the first year

Diuretics and lymphedema- yes or no?
I went to the emergency room with excruciating abdominal pain, which turned out to be a small
bowel
obstruction
. I dont remember any of this but at the admitting desk they rushed me right in cause I was blue. They hooked me up with oxygen etc etc etc a short time later I "coded" as in CODE BLUE!

Caffeine and Bronchiectasis
I gave up caffeine two weeks ago, just a whim, not for any particular reason. Had headaches for a week. The plus side is, since then my phlegm has been significantly reduced. Not sure how long it will last but I'm enjoying it while it does. I wasn't aware that caffeine caused phlegm until I googled

Zoloft and sex drive effects question please.
I am a male and have been taking Zoloft for 3 years now. My problem is this. Even though I am a male, this could effect women as well, I think. I get an erection with no problem but I am not able to have a climax. My doctor says this can happen with SSRI's. I got on the net and typed in Antideptressants

Links between hypothyroid, Levo and breast cancer
I've had breast discomfort for a couple of weeks after decades of no trouble. I have been on Levo for about 8 weeks. I have frightened myself tonight by reading up on this and finding so much on the internet that links being hypo or hyper and/or taking Levo could be linked to increased rate of breast

Dostinex helps RLS
I have had RLS for about 20 years, it used to drive me nuts. Then i was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma. For treatment I was given Dostinex (cabergoline). Suddenly my rls improved a lot. About 3 year's ago I was taken off Dostinex and guess what, my RLS returned with a vengeance. Dr started me on

Praying and believing
He also had a
bowel
obstruction
and his intestines were ruptured. It's a miracle that he's alive! I have a question, as he is to start chemo on Tuesday. I think it is called R-chop? Would it be safe for him to drink alkaline water? Would it take away from the chemo results?

Serevent Confusion
I was prescribed "Serevent" (Salmeterol) to replace the maintreatment of "Tiotrupium" (Spiriva). The dose prescribed was 1 dose daily. It wasn't helping so I switched back to Tiotrupium, however closely reading the GSK Instructions for Salmeterol it clearly states "the normal starting dose is 2 puffs
