Hi Lynnsie44! Sorry to hear the cancer has moved to the lungs. I was diagnosed with Endometrial adenocarcinoma last June '16, and had same chemo sessions as yours, followed by 25 shots of radiation. Till now, I'm being reviewed every three months, living in dread of a recurrence. Take courage that they caught the metastasis in time for Avastin to work. Hope you remain strong and determined to battle with the beast. From what I read on these posts, we all go through the same experiences.

Take care,

M'Anne

Lynnsie, thank you for reaching out to our community. I hope you find some ease here.

If you haven't, you may also want to try endometrial cancer sites for advice/comfort.

I hope the Avastin soon starts doing what it needs to do, and you see positive results. Don't hesitate to ask your doctor or the nurse navigator if you have questions or concerns, you should feel as though you are getting the answers you need. Take care and keep in touch.

Hi Lynnsie44, thank you for clarifying. I hope I didn't make it sound like you weren't welcome here - you are! I was speaking from the strictly medical side of things. When your original cancer is, say stomach cancer, if it moves to your brain it is still stomach cancer, and will be treated as stomach cancer. I know that sounds odd, but that is how they look at different types of cancer. You may already know that - just thought I should explain in case!
