Celevac
Does anyone have any experience of Celevac for constipation? I need a bulk laxative and fibogel is no good for me. Normacol gives me cramps and so does linseed. Magnesium is horrible! I have bought some Celevac but am wary of using it.

IBS?? Or what?
I have had trouble on and off with my digestive system for longer than 10 years during which time I have had 3 endoscopes and 3 colonoscopies ( the latest was last week and am currently awaiting results ) The previous investigations ruled out cancer for which I am grateful but I have not had much success

A bit worried.
Good evening everybody, patricia7 here, I just wanted to let you all know what has been going on. I filled out a form for ESA at the same time I had to fill in a new claim for PIP, sent that off on Monday; a bit worried about that, they say it can take 16 weeks to make a decision. I have had a bad

Bleeding piles
My GP had diagnosed internal piles alongside my (minor) IBS. The annoying thing is if I give into the temptation of a couple of cups of good coffee as well as IBS symptoms I'll be bleeding. They did initially give me some (non-prescription) suppositorys for them but it made my IBS worse. Has anyone

Colon Cancer & surviving Chemo

Colon cancer?
The gastro specialist thought I had a palpable colon in the left iliac fossa. Also maybe diverticulitis. Hasn't sent me for tests. The strong dull pain, discomfort in my stomach has just gotten worse over this weekend so worried as to what this can be? It seems to be in the middle of my stomach rather

Severe bloating
I have been diagnosed with slow transit constipation (the nerves and muscles in my bowel don't work) I had major surgery last year to remove 1/3 of my large
bowel
due to
obstruction
. I was so bloated last night I found it hard to breath as my tummy was pushing up under my ribs.

I'm hoping for some advice.
Hello everyone, i'm glad to find a community like this to come to. My mother has just had surgery for bowel cancer (R hemicolectomy plus bilateral oopherectomy although no news on the ovaries yet) 10 days ago. She has done really well and feels emotionally ready for the possibility of chemo but doesn't

Psyllium husk
Hello everyone I've just bought some Psyllium husk to try and add some more fibre to my diet in the hope it'll make me more regular. I've never taken anything to add fibre and I'm on a fairly bland diet at the moment following a recent bout of D. I'm normally pretty constipated. Does anyone have any

my partner has got advanced bowel cancer and i'm looking for answer to one question that is what could be causing him to have hot and cold feelings in his arms all of the time . he isn't on chemo or radiotherapy due to the cancer and his heart problem lowering his chance of survival.
