Im new and suffer with chronic constipation

Hiya im keelie hughes im 16 years of age and I've suffered with chronic constipation since I was 9 years old. I'm under 3 different hospitals for this and I'm still no further down the line sorry my post is so long.ive had all different meds, peristeen washouts etc and they dont work... I went to london for tests and its come back that my rectum muscles dont work properly which is making me blocked, my dr at nottingham is referring me to physio for it and trying a new tablet which should help it... there refusing the ace. I was in hospital last week on kleenprep, I had 18 1/2 litres and it didnt work... I had an xray before it started and I was full... I had an xray 2/3 days ago and there was no difference.. I had to get seen the other day because I was vomiting poo... the doctor came to see me yesterday morning on ward round and he said to me "your not showing signs of an obstruction or dialation in your bowel which are the only reasons why you should be sick with poo, your not rolling around in pain, you arent bloated (I looked about 5 months pregnant) so your confusing us all when your saying you was sick with poo but you arent showing no signs" baring in mind my mum wouldnt lie about me sicking poo, and no one believes that my meds dont work... my consultant has been on about the ace for ages now but she keeps changing her mind as she doesnt think it will work for me... im getting fed up because no one believes me, im getting told so many things by different people... and also im having to live with this, even though they wouldn't let there child suffer like I am, and I dont want to be in and out of hospitals all the time, there also could be a chance that ill never be back to normal which is scary because I want a career etc but if im still suffering, its going to ruin everything im constantly banging my head on a brick wall and no ones seeing it 😭 ive never felt so ignored as to what I am with every doctor not believing me xxx

Welcome Keelie, you can search other posts if you are looking for any particular info, but it sounds like you just needed to vent. Doctors can be very frustrating at times, and the worst feeling is when they dont believe you. I would get your mom to be your advocate, sometimes doctors have a hard time with younger folk.
