Feels like things are taking forever
I just had an email back from my clinic, following an endometrial
biopsy
that there was insufficient endometrial tissue from sampling. This means I will have to repeat the
biopsy
and things will be pushed back again.

Liver Biopsy - Review
Liver
, BC Cancer, Vancouver, Feb 2024 I had an ultrasound guided liver
biopsy

They are going to do a brain scan and a vein
biopsy
. I thought the temporal
biopsy
was useless if already taking prednisone . My thoughts are reduce pred to 40 but they want to raise to 60. Any info appreciated .

Is a Liquid biopsy of ctDNA with PSA = 6 and 4 bone mets, useful?
Hello friends I have to pay upfront the costs but I don't know if nothing will be found in a liquid
biopsy
with PSA of 6.5 What is your experience with liquid
biopsy
? And did anyone have a bone metastatic solid
biopsy
? Thank you 🤗🙌

EUS Pancreas Biopsy
I have a second EUS scheduled in a couple weeks because a pancreas
biopsy
wasn't done at the first one. I recently had an MRCP which showed a small pancreatic cyst. Will the
biopsy
be done to the cyst or just somewhere on my pancreas?

Dad,83 - is biopsy necessary ?
My question is - would there be any added benefit in doing a
biopsy
now and if so what ? Also , what are the realistic risks of doing it I am in India.

brief update
I went for my
biopsy
yesterday. The nail was taken completely taken off and a
biopsy
was done centrally and vertically, in the area where the dark line was showing on the nail and a came out with four stitches. Local injections definitely not nice, but procedure beyond that painless.

Anyhow he said he’s going to order a Liquid
biopsy
that might have a quicker turn around time. It’s now exactly a month from the Endobronchial
biopsy
, and 2 weeks since we saw the Oncologist.

The doctor said I would need to have a general anaesthetic and a rigid cystoscopy and bladder
biopsy
. I had this last week- they took a
biopsy
of part of the plaque like areas and I’m awaiting the macmillan urology nurse to call with the histology- which can be another 1-2 weeks.

IGAN and FSGS
Biopsy
showed both FSGS and IGAN. Not sure what the future holds now… I wonder how quickly things will progress? So much to learn about kidneys.

Her

was taken from one of the areas with multiple lesions in her spine. We have our first appointment with an oncologist next week who will determine the treatment plan.

Lupus and now possible BCell lymphoproliferative Lymphoma-extranodal in lungs
May 1st had new onset wheezing, long story short--xrays, ct scan, lung
biopsy
-shows -suspicious for but not diagnostic of the above--extra nodal BCell Lymphoma. I want to know if anyone has had this and if getting off cellcept and/or tacrolimus reversed it?

He mentioned the possible need to do a
biopsy
somewhere. However, I remember when my father broke his hip 18 months ago, they did a
biopsy
of the tissue all around and inside the hip.Â
