STAGE 1C1 Grade 2
The results from the
biopsy
was that the cyst was cancerous being a moderately differentiated adencarcinoma. In other words the grading was two and in a stage 1C1 category so I’ve been told.

Huge polyp found - any success stories after polypectomy?
To my dismay during the procedure, the gynae pointed out on the screen a huge mass occupying most of the uterine cavity, which he said was a polyp and is sending
biopsy
to labs to confirm. I am feeling really hopeless today and uncertain about the future.

Biopsy results
As I suspected given the delay the
biopsy
results came back negative. Most recent blood tests now show ESR and CRP completely normal, having been very raised at initial presentation three weeks ago , and the initial ultrasound showed no signs. So was it /is it GCA or not? Who knows.?

Lung Biopsy
I have to have a lung
biopsy
& am scared to death. My father died of lung cancer & I fear I am filling in his footsteps. Anxiety is killing me right now over all my fears.I had a nodule grow from 5 mm to 7 mm. I dont understand what ground glass opacities are.

Intake question MSKCC
I had called up cold and was given an appointment for an MRI, followed by a TRUS
biopsy
(Dr. Ehdaie); everything followed from there. Now, my twin brother presents with an elevated PSA, and wants to be evaluated at MSK.

Overwhelmed Newbie...
Peter's Albany did the "car salesman" push for surgery, trying to schedule it in same visit as giving me results of
biopsy
. I think I am in shock as well as overwhelmed with all the choices. Gone from excitedly planning my retirement in 3 months to being terrified I'll be incontinent.

Help with bloods
They have done a scan and i've had a
biopsy
which is ok so they want to change my HRT. I wanted to see my levels so asked for bloods to be taken as i'm now 58 and thought if my own body produced hormones has stopped/reduced then this would show up.

What is the long term impact of a hysterectomy and ovary removal ?
hello I recently had a cyst removed from my left ovary and the
biopsy
indicated borderline cancer tumors . The hospital have recommended I have another surgery in 6 weeks to remove both ovaries and have a hysterectomy at the same time .

Breast Cancer
I was shocked to get this diagnosis after a call back from my routine mammogram, another mammogram, an ultrasound, and finally a
biopsy
. I'm sure I will be fine but it is still scary. What is the recovery time like for a lumpectomy?

Trying to think optomistic
Well I am trying to think positive I have had a message for a telephone appointment with the GI consultant next Wednesday 20th March . Telephone appt and not to attend the hospital. SO putting on my optimistic 🤞🤞🤞🤞 outlook I am hopeful that nothing majorly worrying has been found in the biopsies

Results from trans rectal bipsy
I had spent a week in the hospital from the sepsis from the transrectal
biopsy
. Back home with a midline for an afternoon IV for the next week. Strike one against my Dr. who poo-pooed the transperineal. The results were that there was cancer but still within the prostate capsule - stage 2.

Update
Martins prostate cancer which has now spread to his liver showed 4 small mets on the latest scan. 1 was large enough to do a
biopsy
. It is now showing small cell prostate cancer which we understand is quite aggressive.

folate dropping
I have been injecting since July 2023, thanks to you all, I knew to check my ferritin when I felt something else was off…since no doctor thought it necessary. It was 14. Now I am on iron supplements. My folate has always been >24. However, since starting the iron, my folate has dropped to 15 (still

Gallstones are actually a hernia/ulcers
Hi everyone, hope you are all as well as you can be. I had my endoscopy this week to see if they could find the suspected gallstones. Instead they found a large hiatus hernia, plus multiple stomach ulcers. This explains why I have been in so much pain, in a constant state of nausea, and off work for

Some encouragement
I wanted to try to encourage some of you who have recently joined this esteemed club, that nobody really wants to belong too, fortunately it's free. 10 years ago on the 9th of October, I was told that I had prostate cancer, they left the
biopsy
until the new year, to find out that it had gone beyond
