Got my genomic analysis - sounds like there are possibilities?
I'm attaching the relevant part of my tumor testing from the
biopsy
samples. I'm high volume metastatic cancer, currently on Lupron, had to stop abiraterone due to liver numbers off, & had 1st Docetaxel chemo a week ago. Sounds like Keytruda could be beneficial as immunotherapy.

Is twitching a particularly hypothyroid symptom?
I had a Sjogren’s
biopsy
, which ruled that condition out. After a few months I put the salivary issue down to Teva, because when I stopped taking Teva in March, the dry mouth went away. It’s back.

Free PSA - Post RT
I know that pre-diagnosis Free PSA may be used as one predictor of PCa, and can influence whether one should pursue MRI /
biopsy
. My question is in the Post RT context when one still has a prostate and some minimal PSA is expected, does Free PSA have any inferential value?

Androgen receptor mutations for precision medicine in prostate cancer - Endocrine-Related Cancer, Review Article, Published: 17 Aug 2022

Hi Ladies I had my thoracic surgery on 10th May and saw my oncologist for results on Monday. It has been confirmed as metastatic ovarian. The surgeon removed one lymph node and another small growth but there’s one remaining on the diaphragm which he says is too dangerous to remove and one on other side

I Received my Results
I just received my results from my
biopsy
it came back malignant in both my left breast and lymph node. I had my blood drawn to find out the the type of cancer gene it is. I will be referred out to City of Hope for the oncologist. I would like to know what treatments did you all receive?

Bloods update
I was diagnosed 5 months ago with NASH and F2 fibrosis (fibroscan and
biopsy
proven). Since then I've big time changed my diet and I've managed to lose over a stone (was hoping for more but it's a journey).

Thoughts on Treatment to Date
Initial
biopsy
read by Wellstar (GA) and re-read by Dr Epstein at JH. JH detected cribriform morphology and PNI. Based on the
biopsy
readings, I was borderline cT2 or T3a. Decifer score was .79.

I Fu**ed Up
I am seeing my gastroenterologist on August 11th for my
biopsy
result but debating going in before that time. I don't have a lot of faith in my specialist. She's always downplayed my condition and had to go private to get a fibroscan and ultrasound showing cirrhosis of the liver.

swollen legs with rash and hard lump
I have rash on my legs (
biopsy
next year due to waiting lists) and swelling. The swelling is fluid I think but it is rock hard almost like bone swelling/ muscle soft tissue. I have attached photos. The swelling does not really go down overnight.

Did the Cork forum really say that peg doesn't work for 20% of people?
Seems the only way forward, as the haem doesn't acknowledge that peg might not work, is another spleen scan and a bm
biopsy
I've no symptoms for mf which is what the haem is thinking of. Anyone else given up peg because of anemia? Many thanks Jo

Cutaneous Lupus
After a skin
biopsy
I was diagnosed with cutaneous lupus erythematosus as well as sjogrens syndrome. I'm trying to obtain travel insurance but every company that I've tried will not accept cutaneous lupus. They have been insisting that I must have discord lupus but I don't have that.

Should he take the Lupron?
To condense — MRI showed a mass, a
biopsy
showed PC of Gleason 4+4 in all cores with extension to SV. The PSMA PET scan 5 weeks before surgery showed no mets. He had surgery 5/27 (Gleason 8 confirmed) and had 1/7 positive lymph nodes. Recovery was great and continence achieved quickly.

ERA and NK biopsy - price
We received our new treatment plan, where the Natural Killer (NK) cells
biopsy
and Natural Killer (NK) cells blood are priced separately. Of course, ERA
biopsy
is also priced separately. Surely, the
biopsy
for ERA and NK is the same one, or I misunderstood it.

Are MRI with coil and biopsy needed for BCR recurrence in prostate for cryotherapy, HIFU, Tulsa Pro or Brachytherapy?
However, the third RO just told us that we need to do coil MRI and
biopsy
of that uptake in prostate. Due to scheduling issue, it will take at least 2-3 months to get coil MRI and
biopsy
done and we can't start hormone therapy until these are done.

Had a psa of 9.0 at the end of March then had another psa with a 6.6 first of may with a
biopsy
that came back negative. How soon can I have another
biopsy
? They have me on the books for September.
