Lymph node Metastasis
One doc wants to
biopsy
to check if cancer DNA has changed from original pathology in 2017. Another doc says… No to
biopsy
due to proximity to aorta… Anyone else had this scenario? Also, anyone had radiation to lymphs with success? He is on Firmagon & Zytiga… Thank you!

Moving Forward - Endometrial Biopsy & Liver Function Tests
So, after speaking with a new clinic they have proposed some more tests, endometrial
biopsy
and liver function test. I've already had extended panel for immunology bloods done back in Oct. Can anyone share their experience of these tests/ results? Thanks

2 long weeks!
So after her stressing 2 weeks and being subjected to
biopsy
, now we are in search of a Dr . I've been following Save Your Thyroid podcast and we will be calling a few Drs that do RFA on nodules.

My bone
biopsy
that year indicated ET/Jak2. I am seen at a local hematologist here in Alabama but I go to MD Anderson to see an MPN specialist annually. My visit this year did not go well as my hematocrit % has steadily climbed over 3 years.

Hi all, went to clinic today and as I suspected, my adenoid cystic carcinoma has metastersised to my lungs. I am told I am being refered to the head & neck cancer in Liverpool where I sent 21yrs ago! Still no idea of treatment until I go for my appointment whenever that may be! Frustrating 3 months on

colposcopy while trying / ivf timing
I had an appointment in august before my first cycle and they didn’t take a
biopsy
because I wanted to to ahead with the cycle. I am wondering if they do need to take a
biopsy
what that means in terms of trying naturally and ivf ….

Intraductal Carcinoma of the Prostate
My
biopsy
indicates a tumor that’s Gleason 5+4=9, Group 5 (possibly still contained) with intraductal carcinoma. There seems to be only a small bit of Gleason 3+3=6 Group1 on the other side of the prostate. MRI a didn’t show any spread outside prostate.

Liver Cancer
They are going to take a liver
biopsy
in a couple of weeks as I am going on holiday next Monday. Then once this is done I will be having radiography. I am going to be positive and hopefully fight this all the way.

Biopsy wait times
He now has to go for a
biopsy
and the GP informed him the appointment could take up to 4 weeks. He called the appointment line today and was told it will take 10 weeks for the
biopsy
. Surely that is not right? He lives in NI.

1 year on - no PSA but tumor has "progressed"
He
hasn't
yet had a second PSA test, nor has he had a second
biopsy
. Note that while he may choose
not
to have the second
biopsy
(let's see what the forum thinks), he
is
going for his second PSA test (early next week) .

I am having a bone marrow
biopsy
and will probably be starting chemotherapy after that to try to save my kidneys. Vegetarian diet has raised GFR to 38. I am Hoping this chemo can stop the protein from destroying my kidneys. Does anybody else on here have a diagnosis of MGRS?

intraductal carcinoma
My husband's
biopsy
was reread by MSK and one of the cores said the following, "Focally suspicious for intraductal carcinoma (separate core)." He has been diagnosed with stage 4A prostate cancer with one pelvic lymph node involvement that I have written about here.
