How are you trying to reduce st lower levels?

0.5mg a time and one of the slower tapers we are always recommending?

CBD not really recommended with Pred-and doesn’t usually help with PMR itself-although may help with add ons -

we have pretty much everything the slow method, etc. it’s just like it’s starting to take its toll but I guess I’ll just hang in there. At least I’m down to seven again had two flares last year of the GCAThen Tacotusobo reversed this time. TY for your response

If you need that much pred to manage the inflammation of GCA/PMR then nothing else will replace that pred. If there were anything - you could use it from the start,

CBD gummies would be ineffective in helping control pain or inflammation of PMR and major autoinflammatory conditions, or helping the withdrawal side effects of steroids.CBD of any sort is contraindicated for use while on steroids medication because it is metabolised by the same pathway in the liver as steroids and , therefore, Pred.

It can cause a build up of the steroid medication in the body , even if you feel some minimal relaxing effects from CBD at first, this build up can become toxic and harmful in some cases.

Basically , it's not good for you according to research and unlikely to work based on patient experience.

Try discussing other steroid sparer options that have been successful with patients with your GP or Consultant, there are a number available .

Take care , Bee
