Still evaluating my 10 concerns (POST is here: healthunlocked.com/prostate... with second opinion evaluation at the end of the month.

I wanted to add this personal data below. I am giving myself until end of year to decide.

June 3, 2021: PSA 3.2

October 2, 2023: PSA 4.31

December 7, 2023: PSA 6.5, with 18%Free

Jan 8, 2024: The 4KTest, PSA 5.07, with 14%Free, 4KScore 16.9

Feb 15, 2024: MRI calculated volume 40mGy, PI RADS 4 with 14mm lesion in peripheral zone

March 11, 2024: Biopsy with cancer in 2 cores, T1c, Prolaris Molecular Score 3.7, PROSTATIC ADENOCARCINOMA, GLEASON SCORE 6 (3+3), GRADE GROUP 1; prostate volume at biopsy “approximately 50 grams”

Does second opinion include a review of your biopsy and gleason score?

Yes. And a urologist who in the literature references decisions influenced by age. As a younger patient (58), I am concerned about ending up like the person I met recently... diagnosis at 59 and now prostatectomy at 71, wishing he had done it sooner while in better health.

Your family history is not good, sorry. My Dad, Uncles, older brother all had it so yup, I experienced same. Most here will tell you to go the radiation route while I went the RP path.

IMO its all about your current health and are you heavy into activity and exercise. Whatever path you take you get an Urologist and/or RO that has done thousands of successful treatments. Do not F**K around with locals this is serious shit that can be easily handled by great Docs.
