Good news!
Since a trial unfortunately a 3rd Bone Marrow
Biopsy
. Ugh - but soon to be pill free. It will be interesting to see if I feel different after stopping the meds.

Evidence for PIP
I have med letters going back the 12 years, stating I have lupus, and letters for surgeries and conditions I’ve had/got ( meralgia parasthetica, lymph node
biopsy
, hand surgery, etc..) but nothing to show I have a compression fracture in my spine, or that I’ve just had gynae surgery that prevents me

COPD-NEW TO ME!
He has arranged another
Biopsy
by a Radiologist, experienced in challenging neck tumours. Once, or if we get a result, will be able to determine if the tumour is cancerous, and if so, if aggressive. He also told me that an operation was possible but the risks may outweigh a good outcome.

Signatera ctDNA results + weekend fun😁
My RO, Dr Mariscal, was able to enroll me in this at no charge😁https://www.natera.com/oncology/signatera-advanced-cancer-detection/ They took
biopsy
samples from March and created a ctDNA profile to use for recurrence detection 🤔 So, gonna do quarterly blood draws to compare with the original 🙏

Calprotectin 452, Colonscopy and missing symptoms
I also have an enlarged liver which is currently being investigated and some of the findings during a recent
biopsy
means that my hepatologist wants to do a colonscopy anyway given said findings, the high Calprotectin and my symptoms as this liver issue found is most often caused by inflammation disorders

Slight PSA increase
Testicle has been removed, all tests (bone
biopsy
, lumbar puncture, Pet/CT) are clear. So well do four cycles of R-CHOP chemo and doctors are confident, that this will cure me (as it’s very early stage). Now my PC related question: I’m under Lupron and received my next injection yesterday.

CHAMP Trial/Small Cell Chemo Update
His liver
biopsy
didn’t reveal the Neuroendocrine markers but the tumor boards have concluded it is, indeed, small cell. I don’t understand but we continue to put our faith in these doctors and do our own research. Dr. Zhu has been consulting with Dr.

Biopsy results review tomorrow - suggestions on questions to ask?
My dad found out today that his
biopsy
results are in and he has an appt with the urologist tomorrow at noon to review. Given the MRI report (PIRADS 5, “lit up” lymph node, PSA doubling), we and the doctors suspect it’s cancer. Just waiting for the official
biopsy
to confirm.

ART How Should We Monitor Patients During Active Surveillance?
A lesion noted on a PIRAD 3+ mpMRI at any time is proof enough that you may have a tumor that needs a targeted

BMB conflicts blood test result on JAK2
Next step was for bone marrow
biopsy
which I have been told it can be and also that it can not be telling definitively of an MPN. The most confusing part is that his BMB shows no JAK2 detected..????? How can this not be detected but show up in 2 blood tests (although low levels).

Decision Time Very Soon
Planning to have liq.
biopsy
done next week and ask about scans (prob. CT as likely too soon for PSMA PET). Do most people turn to clinical trial after all SOC tried or do you do a trial that may be promising and return to SOC if need? TIA

Hi all!
, things seem to have calmed down IBD wise - I don't take any medication for this now and apart from the odd bad day, usually when I've eaten something I probably shouldn't, its all been good However, I've still had regular blood tests since my IBD diagnosis, I've now had 2 ultrasounds and a liver
