Amitriptyline titration
I was recently diagnosed with "possible IBS" as
biopsy
excluded Coeliac. I have been put on a low FODMAP diet and I am trying to follow the guidelines to the best of my ability. I have also been asked to up Amitriptyline, (which I was already on because I also have MS, lucky me!)

Results
It was from the clinic, said
biopsy
results are normal, no evidence of endometriosis, hyperplasia, , atypia, or malignancy. Being discharged back to care of GP, 🙀 yeah 🤯.

Standard 12 core
biopsy
would have completely missed the cancer. Low dose TRT for two years beginning nine months after surgery due to low T symptoms which later were determined to be due to intolerance to high dose statin. December 2018 uPSA first became detectable at 0.015.

Feeling down, no period
I suppose to have
biopsy
for type of ERA worn Professor Bronson at implantation clinic but I can't until I get period with day five ovulation. I hate the fact my clinic wanted me to take their ERA before another transfer. I'm considering acupuncture now to help rebalance my hormones.

PSA after one month on lupron
Biopsy
and MRI showed all 12 cores malignant with "likelihood of extra-capsular extension". PSMA PET scan showed no mets as of December 15. I began treatment on February 26 with a week of Casodex followed by a Lupron injection on March 4.

I was sent to Endocrinology in October 2023 where I had an ultrasound followed by
biopsy
. The nodule was solid with internal vascularity. I returned a week later for the results but the
biopsy
results were inconclusive due to too much blood in the sample.

Update….
I looked on my ‘MyChart’ and saw that the
biopsy
was no longer showing, but there was an appointment for a Fibroscan.

Zygoma biopsy today
Good afternoonJust returned from an interesting morning in Dermatology having a 4mm punchbiopsy of a presumed cyst but checking " nothing further nasty in the woodshed", 8 weeks wait for results and a pretty little neat stitch and hopefully not too much of a scar as its just below my eye on cheekbone

Actinic Keratosis
Good morning from the US of A, Yesterday I received notification from a scalp
biopsy
I had done last week that the sore on the top of my head is Actinic Keratosis. In researching it I found it is due to ultra violet ray exposure and it is pre cancerous.

One of the issue for testing is the use of tissue from an old
biopsy
(should be OK for germline) vs liquid
biopsy
using a current blood sample (better for catching somatic mutations.) Dr. Alicia Morgans discussed this briefly in the PeterMac GUcast podcast linked in an earlier post.

32 year old wife diagnosed with F4 Fibrosis over biopsy. Can still it be reversed only with dietary changes ? Please pray for her.
Doc again suggested for
biopsy
to get the confirmation about autoimmune and cirrhosis. However before
biopsy
I went for MRI which didn’t showed the cirrhosis. It again created more confusion and later we went for
biopsy
with a result showing consistent with cirrhosis and Autoimmune ruled out.

Many Nodules on your thyroid? under/over?
I am still waiting on a result for my dominate nodule
biopsy
. which was 1.9in size . In the meantime, I'm just wondering as they said I had quite a few nodules on my thyroid would this be indicative of a under or over thyroid? I need to get my bloods done again .

any thoughts???
Saw my pcp Friday, she was quite confident HCC ( liver cancer) could be ruled out per ct scan and ultrasound, still need a mri w/ w/out contrast and probably a trans jugular liver
biopsy
. I’m 42 year male 20 years heavy drinker.

Cancer diagnosis/Operation & impact on Fibromyalgia
The
biopsy
results came back last Friday & I have cancer and need an operation. I’ve had M.E & then fibromyalgia years now, but the last time I had a major operation was many moons ago, when I ‘just’😉 had M.E.
