endo on omentum?
Confirmed by
biopsy
. Although my omentum looked normal, my consultant biopsied it anyway to exclude any malignancy, the
biopsy
came back that I have ‘microscopic endometriosis’ on my omentum. Has anyone had this?

PSP Diagnosis Changed to PD
He had the SYN-1 skin
biopsy
about six weeks ago. Yesterday, the results came back showing the protein for PD. The body-movement neurologist said he could not explain the eyes and is referring us to a neuro-ophthalmologist to see if he can figure out his eyes. Has this happened to anyone else?

Jakavi advice please
I had a bone marrow
biopsy
which seems to confirm it, although a spleen scan showed my spleen is completely normal. I'm on Pegasys 135ml at the moment but platelets are 729 (going up) and not well controlled.

Is it discoid lupus?
Suspected nummular eczema but did do a
biopsy
to double-check. They are between 1-4 cm., very itchy and I take the prescription steroid cream to help, as well as antihistamines especially to sleep. I have not seen any sun for months.

Genetic Testing?
Does anyone have an experience to share about getting genetic testing done on your
biopsy
samples? I'm interested in three tests: (1) a DECIPHER test, (2) a full gene sequencing of tumor DNA and RNA (e.g., at Claris Labs), and (3) the Artera AI analysis of digitized pathology slides.

Seeking any info: Our son was recently diagnosed with kidney disease
The proteinuria sent us to our local children's hospital where we spent the next week getting tests, a
biopsy
, and treatment. At first, the doctors thought it could be FSGS, but that was ruled out after the
biopsy
results.

I am Chek2 and currently getting a circulating tumor DNA liquid
biopsy
(awaiting results). While I have fatigue and shortness of breath, I haven’t experienced any pain yet. I am 80 years old and still relatively active.

No have to have
biopsy
re done as they ran out of tissue to test for my previous cancer. Has such a traumatic time on last
biopsy
that I can't face it again. I have opted for a scope but told it is 50/50 whether it will get the sample. I'm going to try it first.

Seeking anyone familiar with aggressive small cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer and/or with lurbinectedin as 2nd line chemotherapy.
A needle
biopsy
Oct 15, 2023 revealed that at least some of my metastatic prostate cancer in a lymph node had mutated to an aggressive small cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer. (notable for CDK N1B, RB1, Tp53 mutations.

I’m sure I’ve now got GCA
I was suspected of having GCA 16 months ago when I was diagnosed with PMR ,but the
biopsy
I had after being on 100 mg of pred for two weeks proved negative.

Staying on Ibrance & Anastrozole after 2 recurrences
So for the month of September, no Ibrance - just Anastrozole while I received radiation at the recurrence site and also got a lung
biopsy
. The results were that the cancer was so not solid and there was not enough for molecular sequencing nor a ctDNA.

uMRD 6
I just learned from my oncologist that I can’t get the UMRD6 test because we had no bone marrow
biopsy
done before treatment. Questions one 1. Is this true 2. What is the most sensitive MRD Testing I can get at this point and where do I have to go to get it.

First Rheumy Visit, Lymphocyte/Neutrophil
She is treating me for GSA even though my
biopsy
was negative. I am currently on 40 mg of prednisone. I am still very fatigued, legs are heavy and weak, arms weak, some pain in right temple. Rheumatologist is keeping me on 40 mg of prednisone and adding methotrexate.
