RT results look good

After a bout of sepsis from a directed biopsy, 5 weeks of RT and 3 months of Eligard, my tests show undetectable PSA. I'm still dealing with side effects (interrupted sleep, urinary and bowel differences) but happy to report it looks like, for the time being, that my stage 2/3 PC may have been beaten back. Time will tell. But it's a relief.

I have gotten much information and support from this site. Thanks, folks!

Excellent. That is as expected. The road ahead now is letting time heal the collateral damage of RT to urinary and rectal tissues. These improve and hopefully resolve over time. And in completing your adjuvant ADT of whatever duration. I would think that at stage 2/3 you would not need 2-3 years of HT as those with metastatic cancer. 6 months may suffice and accumulate less harm to your body.) Maintaining metabolic health and muscle/bone is important during this phase. Lots of exercise and limited carbs are important keys in that regard. You won't know if you have beaten it until you come off ADT and have testosterone return to normal and see no BCR with your PSA off ADT. Best wishes, Eadgbe.
