I have been more or less MIA for a while, feeling very down and a level of anger I haven't experienced in about 40 years. So was referred to fast track clinic for suspected Uterine cancer been poked, prodded scanned to within an inch. Still it all looked a bit dodgy, so had hysteroscopy few aliens removed, biopsies taken Mirena coil inserted. Tried to stay calm but , you have yourself buried😨😱🫣. Went on my GP app yesterday looking for something or other and noticed there was a new correspondence , checked it, dated 2nd May. It was from the clinic, said biopsy results are normal, no evidence of endometriosis, hyperplasia, , atypia, or malignancy. Being discharged back to care of GP, 🙀 yeah 🤯. Now have oestrogen gel to support Mirena, and apparently have to go mining 6 to 8 weeks post procedure to do a "string test" oh the joy. Relieved of course but annoyed I waited another week after GP's had info being scared sh**less, So yesterday got a nice bottle of fizz, reduced from £20 to £9.60 in Tesco, and just breathed

I find I am losing my anger at the moment. It’s just such a tide of disinterest I find I am up against. I have found myself a warrior cardiologist but even this feels totally out of balance. What I would give for an experienced, knowledgable, confident but open to discussion medic? Even if these people don’t actually care, or want to care about patients ……. If someone would at least just do their job 360 degrees….

I wish I could drink. However it just makes me feel even worse.

me too! I had a Hysteroscopy on 12 April, was told I would have the results in 2 week. It’s now just going into a fifth week, and nothing. I have contacted both my GP and the hospital, no one is getting back to me! I’m so stressed, and like you, fearing the worst! I hope my outcome is the same as yours. I’m 77 and really don’t need to be wearing sanitary protection at my age!
