In 2002 I sadly lost my older brother and when this idiot of a
bereavement
counselor turned up at my house, he tried making out my back condition was psychosomatic! !

I’ve run though flu,

Changing the subject completely , I have to tell you I am finding this
bereavement
process very confusing although I am not sure that is the right word .

I had to have my cat put to sleep on Saturday. I am going through a hard time finding acceptance and peace of mind. I feel utterly bereft. It was her time to go though. I remember in the early days coming home from hospital and she would curl her body around the top of my head as I lay in bed. I'd had

Have I got it wrong, do I have Hashimoto's or a metabolic disorder or chronically stressed?
Have been under a lot of stress in last 2 years (voluntary redundancy, redundancy,
bereavement
, probate, studying, dodgy builder). Could symptoms be stress related, still Hashimoto's or a metabolic disorder that I've never heard of? Would genetic testing help?

Bereavement Support
Does anyone know some outlets for
bereavement
support? There is a surprising lack in my area. Churches have some but they are more like classes with a fee. I’m not especially interested in religious support.

Look for the small things this Easter.
After my
bereavement
, my lovely niece sent me a small, porcelain star. On it was written: When it rains, look for rainbows. When it's dark, look for stars. Hard to do I know, but if you do it, it does help. Wishing you all good Easter blessings. X

After a very difficult end to 2017 and beginning to 2018 (close family cancer diagnosis and
bereavement
), my husband and I found out three to four weeks ago that he had a severely low sperm count such that it is almost impossible for us to conceive naturally.

A pleasant surprise
Well-after a somewhat stressful year last year (family
bereavement
) etc. I was feeling a bit jaded so decided to do a dry-ish January-followed by February and March.

She faxed my gp there and then requesting he sort me some

An unusual way to grieve.
We all know that the received wisdom is to take things slowly after a
bereavement
and not to do anything too hastily but Mum's health needs must come first and her greatest fear is to end up in a home like dad did.

Fibromyalgia : can anyone relate?
I think the fibromyalgia really ramped up after a few years of ongoing stress and surgeries, ivf, and last year an awful
bereavement
. I take cocodamol on and off, or if not taking it then switch to paracetamol / ibuprofen. Just started on diclofenac as normal painkillers aren't helping.
