The limits of Counselling
But in all honesty I think it's only really effective after an event such as loss and
bereavement
. I think for anyone struggling with a lot of problems, it's far too limited, especially via the NHS when time is limited.

Help for my mom - Hashimoto’s, weight loss and anxiety
A number of stressful things have happened in the last few months including a
bereavement
and my miscarriages. I was wondering if thyroxine dose may need altering due to weight loss?

it has been a long painful road, after 40 years of marriage i left him twice due to the pressures of this illness last year, but i think it is just like a
bereavement
you go through the stages of denial, hate, disbelief and then through them all again!

Starting a fresh
I stopped any thoughts of diets in September when my work load doubled and I suffered a
bereavement
which totally threw my world upside down... I've established that I'm the type of person who really has to consciously concentrate on dieting if I'm to loose any weight.

3 months of freedom, 6 months back in a cell, but today I am ready to STOP
It was very much a stress based lapse, with
bereavement
at the centre. But that isn't good enough, we all know that. It is an excuse! But today is the day. I now have a nearly 3 year old and 11 month old. And my wife has stayed positive for me about getting to this day.

unplanned pregnancy = abortion?
I have also been recently diagnosed with "moderate depression & low mood", after having had copious counselling since January this year to (try to) help with the
bereavement
of losing my dad unexpectedly just over a year ago.

PLEASE HELP :( is this Hashis?
MY eyes are glassy and itchy and ache and I am not sure if it's TED or whether inflammation is high in my body and it's just allergy / auto immune :-( I suffered a huge
bereavement
in June - couldn't eat properly for 6 weeks - so could this have caused a swing back to hypo?

Time improving since graduating :-)
I've continued to run 2 or 3 times a week in between a family
bereavement
, a funeral, family stuff and a few days holiday.

I am extremely confused.
I don't like speaking to anyone about this, I have 4 other brothers and sisters who I feel cope a lot better than I do due to our
bereavement
. I am not someone who likes talking about my problems and feel I would be wasting my GP's time if I was to confront my feelings.

A question for carers/partners
Just wondering have you been offered any sort of counselling , mainly
bereavement
. I know this sounds a strange comment, but think about it. Your partner as they were before may have gone for good. In their place is a new or different versio of them.

Do the anxious ever worry about loved ones ?
What I don't understand about 90% of the posts in this section is that nearly all are concerned about the posters health and almost never show anxiety for others ; family, friends, loved ones or for other worries in life ; finance ,
bereavement
,redundancy etc. etc .Is this self preoccupation a symptom

Update: Fibromyalgia?
I'm also hoping for
bereavement
counselling. Here's the link to the NHS page: http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Fibromyalgia/Pages/Symptoms.aspx I am wondering if Fibromyalgia might be my diagnosis after the neurologist finds nothing else wrong?

Lapsed graduate, just starting the program again
I graduated over 2 years ago, then lapsed due to a
bereavement
. I did restart a year back and did a 5k but lapsed again straight afterwards. Now, with a spare tyre where my waist should be, I'm determined to try and get back to fitness again.

Hello - can you help?
I also lost my father a few months ago to a horrible disease which was distressing to watch so I think I also need
bereavement
counselling. How do I go about getting a diagnosis for Fibromyalgia? I know it is common for lupus patients to also get Fibro.
