Hi folks - my little intro
I've come on here as I've been feeling increasingly anxious, sad and isolated over the past year or so in particular, and I am struggling with
bereavement
along with perimenopausal problems among other things.

The last puzzle piece.
I went to a
bereavement
breakfast for the 1st time today and felt very uncomfortable. I was so much younger than anyone else and felt out of place yet the young widow/widower group is too young for me. The organizer suggested I try a new mtg next week. I will give it a chance.

Graduation
Well it took more than 9 weeks, I was delayed (but proud to say not derailed) by
bereavement
and then injury, but I got there... and you can too. Trust the program, remember that one bad run is simply that and leave it behind you. Still striving to ‘run like a gazelle’ 🤣

Zopiclone and Thyroxine
For around the last couple of months I have taken small amounts of Zopiclone (left over from when I suffered a sudden
bereavement
) to help me sleep. I’ve been having a stressfull time at work and been very busy and worrying so have tried to sleep better by taking Zopiclone.

Week 1 done. Buzzing (again)
I even managed to do a 20 min run but that fell to the wayside (
bereavement
and depression) So what changes have I made? I realised it’s not about beasting myself or what have you, it’s all about a healthy lifestyle and it’s going to stick this time.

Back on track!
Had to take a couple of weeks off due to family illness and
bereavement
so was a bit worried when I started again on Monday ( week 5 ). Just finished run 2 and feel really good. Most I have run in years and still amazed that I AM running and what's more looking forward to the next session !

Missing my Dad
Hi everyone, This is my first time posting in the
bereavement
section of HU as I discovered the app for other health related issues I’ve been having. I lost my father 5 years ago when I was 16 y/o and I cannot express how painful that was, although I’m sure some of you can understand.

When does it start to improve?
I did get a call from hospice reminding me that they have a
bereavement
group monthly but I can't imagine getting through a mtg without crying the whole time. I want to kick and scream like a spoiled child. I don't want to be a widow!!

Interesting article - online bereavement
Hello All I saw this article and I thought I would let you know about it as it's to do with grieving someone you had an online relationship with. The author of the article knew the person 'offline' too, but I thought it might resonate with some of you. Sadly there have been a few forum members recently

One to go!
I hadn’t realised how much I had been affected in the last year by
bereavement
. I’d ‘let myself go’ and put myself at the back of the queue for a while, and now my outlook is much more positive, all thanks to finding running and spending time on me.

Running to help cope with bereavement...
Just done my week 5 run 2 run... When I randomly decided to set out on this journey and start the c25k, I had no idea I’d then be dealing with the loss of my husband a few weeks later. (He was in hospital for 8 months, which I think is partly why I started the program, to give me some head space. But
