Anyone had a Videofluroscopy?
My husband was referred to the hospital in November as staff at the hospice want him to have a PEG fitted. The specialist we saw said he wouldn't do it because of the risk involved and because my husband, "Certainly doesn't look malnourished". He has now been given an appointment for a video X-ray

Advice please on confusing problem.
I have top of range RBC in range Hb. and take ferrous sulphate for iron deficiency anaemia. I have top of range Vit B 12 when supplementing. Low MCV & MCH. I feel I have all the symptoms of pernicious anaemia. Please can anyone suggest why I have lots of RBC's with low MCV & MCH?

Ferritin Low: How much Iron do you take and what form?
Hi all, My partner has changed to NDT (Armour) from Levothyroxine. This is looking pretty good so far - however one thing we wanted to make sure we had right is his ferritin level. Last blood test this was 40, range 30-400 ug/L. His endo said that this was "fine", but we promptly ignored her and he

Do you need omeprazole when you have an hiatus hernia?
Hello all, This is a long winded post but i need to tell you it all so you get an understanding. I started with IBS problems around 5 years ago after a severe bout of food poisoning. At first it was IBSD and then gradually became IBSA. Before getting an 'official' diagnosis i had numerous blood tests

Valium follow up
So, I did end up having that procedure at the end of October and I did take the 20 mg of valium; however, I have no recollection whatsoever how it made my legs feel. Sorry. That "amnesia" leads me to believe it isn't a viable daily option for me, even if it did work.
