Recent 2020 research report, and one in 2017 showing Xofigo may have a much higher risk of serious side effects on bone marrow than thought!
Unfortunately, some of us here have been suspecting this, due to personal experience: "Twenty-three patients received Xofigo at UF Health, and one was lost to follow-up. Sixteen patients (73%) completed the full course (six doses) of Xofigo, while six did not. Ten patients (45%) developed pancytopenia

Slow and steady today
Last Wednesday, I developed really painful shin splints so I was unable to run or even walk properly for a few days. I wore my more comfortable trainers today and felt determined to do another 30 minute run but at a steady pace. My calves were quite painful at the beginning but the pain gradually reduced

CT scan
It turns out, the CT scan I had on Thursday 27th February 2020, was different, in the respect that I had to drink barium meal, whereas before, it was more of a water substance. So I am a bit more reassured, as it wasnt the same thing. Everything crossed for the fifth of March. Xx

Treatment options for 82 year old
My father who is hormone resistant had the go ahead for Radium 223, but has only been able to have 1 injection as his white blood cells and platelets are too low to continue currently. He feels like it has made things worse, am wondering how long this could affect his levels? Worrying with the current

Not run for 2 weeks but couldn’t resist this morning.wk8r1✔️
Well I was going to try to wait until Monday’s physio session but this morning I just couldn’t resist the little patch of sunshine. And I tried out a friends advice. She has also been suffering with one sore hip and her dad asked her if she always did the same route. She said usually and he said maybe

seizure while driving?
Last year, I had weird issue while driving.it was a 5 hour drive and it was fine but then, out of the blue, couldn't control my eyes and I kind of froze up. Was able to get to side of the road, but it was scary. Now I'm on gabapentin for migraines and take valium for vertigo . But yesterday, it happened

Magnesium
When I read Carolyn Dean's book The Magnesium Miracle, it was with an eye to osteoporosis and I didn't really pay much attention to magnesium's corrective role even in inflammation and other disorders. Now I'm reading the 3rd edition (read 2nd edition before) and although I'm not far into it I think

Lyrica, RLS and tinnitus
Hello all, I have RLS and tinnitus, and I’m wondering if anyone else shares these two diagnoses with me. I thought I had a great solution in Lyrica and felt great for about two weeks. I slept multiple days in a row for the first time in 20 years. But the Lyrica caused an increased pressure in my head
