How do I get my enthusiasm back after an injury?
I had a knee injury around 3 weeks ago and i had to stop running. My knee was better about a week ago but I still haven't been back out running again. I can't seem to sum up the enthusiasm and I keep finding excuses not to go running. I am finding this frustrating as I am worried that if I don't go out

Crikey! 10K today
I'm now 62 & hadn't run since school, 45 years previously, and at points during my fifties I'd been walking with a stick due to a recurring (over 25 years)
back
injury
. Chiropractic eventually sorted that out. Anyway, I persisted and graduated on my birthday in March.

Boring is good!
Boring is definitely good. 9 months studying for a module towards my degree, which was over on Tuesday after completion of a 3 hour exam . Very scary when you haven't sat an exam for 25 years. Finally life is going to be stress free for a bit (I hope), have also had to invest in a brand new car after

Back After Injury........! Enforced rest definitely not good for the soul!
Well after 10 days without running due to groin strain, very gingerly tried a slow and steady 5k in the local park this morning. Had planned to use treadmill in the gym, but the torrential rain had slowed to more like a normal British rainfall ( think wimbledon ) so chose outside. Had literally had

accidental overdose
Just had a dreadful day. Last night I couldn't find my meds so I went to my cupboard & got some spares.Trouble is that because I was feeling rubbish, I found an old packet of Ametryptiline & dutifully took 4 as usual. This morning I felt dreadful but carried on with my commitments, but this evening

Has anybody else overdone it since graduating?
I'm finally
back
after a month out due to
injury
. I can only attribute this to trying too much too soon, since I was fine throughout Laura's podcasts.

I broke my humerus (upper arm) last September when I fell over in the hall, then last week I fell in the kitchen and I broke the same arm just above the wrist. A little bit of hope perhaps
Thought it might be nice to give a little bit of hope on a sunny day. First of all, I think it might be good to hear that my Mum first noticed (PSP) symptoms at least 12 years ago, maybe even 13. I have sometimes read that people only survive for 5-10 years with PSP, and although this might be true for
