Of all the things I thought would stop me running...
I thought it might just be too hard or I would had trouble with my knees, or
back
or a totally new
injury
. It's gone really well so far and I've managed to keep going through various trips away during the school holidays and last week I finished week 7.

Letter from ESA :(
Hi Guys... Three weeks ago i went for a medical examination, to be told by the Dr doing the examination that there was little point in going any further with the tests as the amount of medical evidence and the large quantity of medications i was taking daily proved that i was unfit for work. She asked

Well, here she goes again....
So, after nearly 3 months off with an off/on groin
injury
followed by a broken toe, I'm getting
back
out there tomorrow ! Literally can't wait ! Been to the gym 2/3 times a week under the expert guidance of a brilliant personal trainer.

So last week I felt fully recovered frm my ongoing groin
injury
, got
back
to running again, and managed 3 miles in 30 minutes. Lovely ! Got all excited when I saw the new doloads, and got them fully loaded on to my little pink i pod shuffle. Lovely !

Coming
back
from
injury
is quite hard and with a Scottish 10K event coming up in exactly three weeks I want to make sure I am able to complete it but I don't want to re-hurt myself training too hard with hill work or fast intervals.

Help with petitions, some of us have great care and some not so good.
Three of these petitions are related to thryoid issues, which seems prevalent with autoimmune, and the other one, just help with the downright awful culture out there for patients and medical staff when they raise concerns. They all need signatures and passing on please, it would help so much to get

First run back after injury.
After a visit to the osteopath this morning and a much improved back I decided to get back on the wagon. It's been a few weeks. I tried one run a couple of weeks ago it was terrible. So have rested. I wanted to make sure I didn't make anything worse so I jogged at a nice steady 7.5kph. Not knowing my

Can dad also have delusions?
My dad was diagnosed with PSP 3 years ago. He was reasonably well, but now seems to have suddenly detiorated in the last month. He is falling more, incredible tiredness & waking up at odd hours in the night, unable to sleep. He is finding it difficult to swallow. What is now worrying me most

back after injury - starting again with week 3!
Well I have had about 5 weeks off running with no other excersize at all to recover from my shin splints (possible stress fracture) - I have been in a lot of pain so very reluctant to ever go through that again however I thought that today my leg feels strong enough to give this running lark another

Second run back... Jumped to week 4
A couple of days ago, for my first run
back
after
injury
i went to week 3, i managed it not too bad. So, this time i tried a week 4 run instead. It stretched me much more and was more comfortable in terms of stretching me without hurting my still sore back.

Return to work any advice welcome!
Im 5 weeks on from my laparotomy and doing great. I have a diagnosis of Pseudomyxoma peritonei and will need another big op. I mentioned to my boss that I would like to get back to work 'when I recover' so she arranged an occupational health appointment for me for tomorrow. Does anyone have any advice
