Hey folks

Beautiful weather

Getting ready for the 20 min run this week, I’ve done program before so I know it works, why does it feel like such a jump ....

Recently back from injury still a few niggles so have done Week 5 Run 2 x2, and week 5run 1 x2 , registered for remembrance 5 k on November 11, would love to run the lot am I aiming too high?? currently completing 5 k in 38 minutes, I follow plan but with walking and extra bit of running I try to complete 5 k when I get out, juggling 2 little ones and a husband that’s a farmer 👩‍🌾 I take advantage

Have you been doing extra the whole way? Thats not gonna help those knees.

A 5k event is meant to be fun... ok it’s a remembrance one so maybe a bit less so, but I guess the organisers don’t want to see people injure themselves... just run what you can safely run and walk some... have fun.

I hear ya I don’t always do extra and I’ll be happy to walk run the event but wanted to be aiming for a goal!!! And I don’t want to get injured again so I’ll aim for nice and steady
