I’m happy this evening. I got out and ran 5K, full 5K without walking breaks. It’s taken some time to build back up to 5K, and has taken me a few weeks of running and walking 5K before I got back to running it all.
I was on the injury couch from April until September due to a back injury. It feels great to be back and great to have ran the 3rd 5K in a row without any walking breaks. Not fast, 37 mins, but I’ll get it down again over time. I felt comfortable. Plan is to keep it going over the winter with Parkrun added in. Running is great.

I did the app earlier in the year then had to take 10 break from running also with a back injury. So decided to start from scratch. I'll never be a fast runner but for me it's about distance and getting out there .
Hello Decker. Great to hear from you. Hope all is well in Canada. Getting cold now I’m sure. Congratulations on all your running success, wow, half marathon territory, that’s amazing. I’m going to start training again soon to get back up to 10K. But I’ll never be running a Half Marathon, 10K will be my Marathon and 5K my HM. Best wishes,
Yes, temps are getting considerably cooler here now. Had to wear winter mitts on the last run. We are all on different paths and I wish you all success on yours. Never say never!
