Fibroscan
I had my fibroscan this afternoon. The first technician no doubt, hit me with the probe at least 40 times or more. Said machine was not wanting to read right. I thought oh great. After about 10 minutes she left the room and came back with another technician. This one appeared to be very knowledgeable

Burning mouth syndrome?
I had to buy
artificial
saliva
but it evaporates in minutes. Even so if that was it, I would still try to ignore it.

? Oxford Biosciences Methylcobalamin
Hello. Am wondering if any of those who use this brand have any feedback on the products? I know methylcobalamin is light sensitive, is it heat sensitive as well? Thinking that shipping to the US from the UK might take a couple of weeks, at least, and wondering how well it would hold up during transit

Did anyone else get energy/insomnia with Ocaliva?
I'm well aware of the negative side effects of Ocaliva, but has anyone else had a Prednisone-like energy boost? I don't know how else to describe it. I took it for the first time last night after dinner and 5 am I'm AWAKE awake. My alarm does not go off until 7 so it's weird. Yeah, it feels exactly

New rationale for treatment
Wondered if anyone else is on this regimen? I received 3 injections of lucentis at monthly intervals with increasingly bad reactions. The last one caused burning that lasted 12 hours, followed by the gritty feeling ( worse than ever/ which didn't really ease up. After several days I rang the hospital

Hi this is my first post on this bronchiectasis community, but I have been on fibromyalgia community some time. I have found comments very helpful. I wonder if there is anyone out there who have both bronchiectasis and fibromyalgia. I have been looking for a Consultant familiar with both for some time

Ocaliva financial assistance
Had blood work yesterday and my ALP continues to be over 500 (original diagnosis 2 years ago). At my Nov. Dr's appointment I was told if ALP didn't improve Dr. would add another med, probably Ocaliva. Can anyone please share their experience getting financial assistance (United States) to pay for this

CLL and worsening allergy but poor immunity
Came across a great article on the relationship between inflammation, allergies and a poor immunity in CLL. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3844117/ Every now and then I hear about people with CLL on the forums saying that they never really get properly sick. So for example a cold comes

Breast implant associated small cell lymphoma!
I am wondering if anyone is confronted with this. I had a saline implant post mastectomy in 2012. I received a letter from my plastic surgeon stating that the FDA has put out new data stating that the texture of the implant, saline and silicone can lead to this new cancer which is not related to breast
