Update
Update from last week regarding exacerbation. After taking steroids I am now taking my antibiotics because I have phlegm on my chest and lots of wheezing. Informed GP and I've to finish course, if I don't feel any better to contact them again. I've decided to buy myself a nebuliser to use just when I'm

Persistent Congestion and Asthma
I have recently tested clear after several months of pseudomonas, in fact 2 clear tests but I'm really struggling with asthma and congestion, particularly when I lay down which is stopping me sleeping. I'm taking colomycin nebuliser twice a day, azithromycin 5 times a week at the moment, reducing to

Ozone Therapy
Has anyone ever heard of/used ozone therapy to help calm down inflammation? We're in the middle of a huge flare up of my son's skin, trying to track down the trigger - his skin has been fire engine red, flaking and eyes swollen for multiple days now. The integrative doctor we are seeing is encouraging

Hypertonic Saline
I have just been prescribed 7%hypertonic saline to help with Bronchiectasis. Is this ok to use with the face mask on the nebuliser. It is very salty so not keen on using the mouthpiece.

Oxford Biosciences Methylcobalamin
I finally got my transcobalamin II lab test results and, no surprise, I'm extremely low. Since I lack the proper b12 transport proteins, I'm re-thinking my supplementation program and wondering if my lack of improvement back to "normal" on cyanocobalamin is because very little is actually transported

How to cope with a child with suspected asthma
Hi. I posted a while ago about my 3 year old LG who has suspected asthma and her medication and inhalers are not making a difference. She had the worse year last year and spent most of it coughing. It's really starting to take a toll on my mental health and I'm so anxious all the time about her having

Lu PSMA treatment updates
I’ve had a few requests for me to report on my Lu PSMA treatment. I was diagnosed a year ago with metastatic PCa, and my reaction to Degerelix and Lupron soon revealed that it was already castration resistant. I’ve been through most SOC treatments and started Lu-PSMA in November through the early access

Sea air and liver disease
This may seem a very random question, but I wondered if anyone lives by the sea, regularly exercises on the beach or swims, rows or does some boating activity?! If so, has inhaling the salty air had any adverse affect upon your liver disease in terms of fluid retention, sudden change in diuretic dose

My MSK Precise / SBRT Journey -- Simulation
I had my simulation procedure at MSK in NYC yesterday. Overall, it was a long day, but much of it was waiting in between the phases of the process. I had prepped in the morning with the Citrucel, Gas-X tabs, and saline enema, so when I arrived I was ready to roll. The first part involved the CT scan

Autologous stem cell COPD therapy
Hi, I underwent an excision of my left lung due to cancer in 2017, I am 70 years old and from the day of the operation I decided not to use medicines but to rely only on rehabilitation, good nutrition, and lots of exercise. The only help I have are sprays of saline with eucalyptus drops 3 times a day

PBC fatigue vaccine question
Hi Everyone. I was diagnosed around 10 years ago with PBC. Urso worked at first, then they had to increase the dose. Ocaliva was added a couple of years ago. I find my exhausted bad days are becoming more frequent and find this discouraging. Just wondering how others have faired after the vaccine. I

Sore throat with nebuliser
I’ve just started using a saline nebuliser and have found it’s giving me a sore/dried out throat. I’m making sure I drink lots of water after use but I’m still having some issues. Is there anything recommended to reduce these issues? Thanks!

Co2 retention
Hi all, can anyone advise on how to keep Co2 levels down ? My husband was rushed to hospital 18 months ago in a very serious condition due to a build up of Co2 . We were told at the time there is no way of knowing when this is happening ( other than blood tests) and that it may or may not happen again
