Sorry... first, I don't want to make People unnecessarily scared especially because of my very limited Knowledge reading Articles / Reports here and there and try to bind the pieces of Information. If I understand it correctly....following are my thoughts and questions on this recently approved Drug

How long does it take to improve
Hi I'm new. Never had blood test but suffering from Underactive thyroid. Depression and extreme tiredness and feeling very cold after exercising and so out of breath. Injecting 0.5ml of saline so 1mg of b12 when should I notice the difference?

From Gastro to Hepatologist
I haven't been on in a while just so much going on. My 9 year old had to open heart surgery in November. She is doing great. My question is this...I went to see my Gastro this week to get results of another upper scope. He took several polyps and biopsies. He wants to send me to a Hepatologist because

Ok to use a nebuliser?
As many of you already know I have been very unwell with a chest infection. I have an unused nebuliser which has come out of hiding,my hubby got me some saline and off I went. My worry is,is it ok to use it without my docs advice? I hope it is.

Title Table Test
I had the TTT on Tuesday and I don't know what the official conclusion of the test was (Cardiac doc doesn't like to label) but this is what he said. "The results show your condition (I'm guessing he meant PD) but you are maintaining a decent BP so I don't see any need to change any of your medication

unable to stop crying, unhelpful ENT consultants, need some hope /advice
I have various problems with asthma, no smell, sore bones and food intolerances all of which I have been coping with for several years now and last year was given levothyroxine as my TSH had gradually gone up to 9.55 over the year. The net had indicated that treatment for thyroid would help and I persuaded

Okay, next question- does anyone have a travel nebuliser that they are happy with and would recommend? (for 6 year old, saline only at this point).

Saline nebuliser
Hi, I've recently been issued a nebuliser and told to do saline nebuliser once a day when my daughter is ill. My question is, is there such a thing as too much, since it's just salty air? (and she was assessed and issued this). She knows she gets to watch the telly while she does it, so she's asking

Safe Nasal Decongestant
What nasal decongestants are safe to use for someone who has had AF? I am currently not taking anything except warfarin and prophylaxis with magnesium citrate, so interactions with AF meds are not the problem. I need to clear out my sinuses. I do not think they are infected. I have tried isotonic saline

I am new here. Diagnosed with PBC in 2002 maybe starting Ocaliva soon.
Hello all, I was diagnosed with PBC back in 2002 at the age of 21. I have been taking close to 1000 mg of urso everyday since then. Maybe 6 years into it my puritus would kick in the week before I began menstruating. Then once my menstruation began it would go away. Over the past three months the

ADVICE NOTE: Normal Saline 0.9% for Injection
Hi All. I've recently noted that there have been posts advising a source for injectable saline and thought it would be useful to clarify what is safe for injection purposes and what is not. Sterile Plastic Saline Pods: The normal saline in plastic pods is described as sterile. However, it is subject

Hypertonic saline nebuliser
I've just started using this and wondered what time of day people tend to neb? I've opted for first thing in the morning before I eat. Does that sound right?
