An apology, and a question about sublingual?
I would 1st like to apologise for a rant I made a little while ago concerning taking lots of different supplements (potassium, D3, et al). I was confused and all I really wanted was to feel better, rather than chasing my tail wondering what I should be taking? I have now been able to get Jarrow 1000

Hypertonic nebulisers
Hi would appreciate advice on hypertonic nebulisers. Is it something that is routinely prescribed in adult patients with PCD? I have been on nebulised antibiotic therapy along with atrovent for many years. Just wondering whether I would benefit by adding hypertonic saline nebs pre physio? Many thanks

Top night.
Unbelievable 02 tonight. Just finished my hypertonic saline on the Omron NEU17. Having this nebuliser has changed my life. It gets right into my lungs It takes between 1/2 to 1 hour twice a day. Washes all the muck out that easily gets infected.

Nebuliser to take 7% saline
I am looking for a nebuliser that takes the 7% hypertonic saline. The one I have from the NHS takes for ever, as I put my salbutamol in first followed by the saline. I am an hour each morning nearly, its so slow. I have a lovely little Oberon portable which is quick but this will only take normal saline

First injection of methylcobalamin
My b12 is 224 (180-900). I've got a load of symptoms which I believe are linked to the low levels. I was going to supplement with lozenges but decided to the injection route instead. I've been unwell for so long now I want to give myself the best chance of getting well. I want to start living again.

I have a problem with a lot of mucus in my throat especially in the morning when I wake up. I am so tired of this. I told my doctor about it he said to use a saline to rinse out mucus from my sinus. I tried that it does not help. Please help!!

Hacking the B12 Injection Hurdle (I hope)
Hi everyone, I'm new here so you know what that means...(dumb questions). Since I don't want to go the gp route with the all the hassles and expense. I've decided to go rogue and try to hack this issue. I'm wondering if someone else is doing or has done this before... I bought some Methylcobalamin 1000

Is anyone on the new drug Ocaliva?
I went to my doctor today and he was very excited to tell me about this new drug Ocaliva for PBC that got FDA approved at the end of May and available since June. He wants my ALP numbers to go down more so I will be taking 2 URSO pills + 1 Ocaliva 5mg pill per day. I was taking 3 URSOs per day. The side

Saline
Hi, I have alot of difficulty coughing up mucus as it is very sticky, I was taking mucodyne but stopped taking it to see if it was actually doing anything, I think it was helping but I would like to try a more natural way of clearing my chest. I do physo twice daily but was also thinking of trying saline

Things are looking up!
It's important to keep the mouth moist, we have a
artificial
saliva
spray and giving dad honey and lemon (it soothes the cough and has anti bac:fungal properties). Thanks to everyone who posted replies. Whilst we're not out the woods yet things are looking up 😊

Using only saline in nebuliser; anyone?
I have been in nearly constant discomfort since March when I had a very bad chest infection. My chest feels more or less tight and painful all of the time, there is a lot of swelling in my airways causing me bad shortness of breath; I also have burning in my chest; sometimes it it is everywhere sometimes

MY SENSE OF HUMOUR TOOK TO ITS HEELS AND RAN AS FAST AS IT COULD!!!!
Well last Friday was th first round of FCR. I felt quite positive, put on make up and a nice Lacey top to go to the party . All the staff were amazing, loads of reassurance and info... I was ready to go. Took the pills. Fine. Waited to start the infusion and was still quite jovial even though I did

Heaven has another angel
I lost my precious bride of 35 years to PSP this morning at 5:14am Eastern Standard Time. She was not in any pain and went very peaceful. My two children were with me by her side. I had taken her to the hospital on Tuesday because of a bad UTI, but they determined she also had aspiration pneumonia

I'm Hoarse.
I'm new here. I am coping with emphasima. My saline nebulizer causes phlegm to collect in my vocal cords making me hoarse. I would like to find a gargle or diet to minimize this. I live in Sunnyvale, California, USA
