Hi this is my first post on this bronchiectasis community, but I have been on fibromyalgia community some time.

I have found comments very helpful.

I wonder if there is anyone out there who have both bronchiectasis and fibromyalgia.

I have been looking for a Consultant familiar with both for some time, still looking

Just read a post, about nubulised gentamycin. I used this every day for 4.5 years and did really well. but when it came IV gentamycin had to stop it as it had effected my kidney's. Only thing I have now is nebulised saline when chest gets tight. The younger Consultants feel inhaled gentamycin is old fashioned. I have been having chest infection for a while, don't seem to be able to kill bug off. Saw Consultant last week, having XR x-ray next week. Hope to get a result soon

Yes Bronchiecstasis , asthma and crps and fibromyalgia

Hi Thanks just found your reply, I find dealing with Bronchi/fibro difficult as symptoms are similar and I feel they are connected in some way. You are the only person I have found with both (you also have other issues) me too. How do you manage, and what meds are you on. Sending big hugs x

Hi I have Bronchiectasis/ Fibromyalgia & Spinal problems. Can you explain about the nebulised Antibiotic.? Can’t they give you an alternative one? I have been given Arithromycin tablet Antibiotics but they have caused bad Stomach Acid.. With Histus Hernia not easy...
