OCREVUS INFUSION

Hi all I got my Ocrevus infusion today. Well let me tell you I Hate Traffic and I don’t drive any more thank The The Lord above.

One good thing they were not doing any road work on the Tobin Bridge We made it a little late to the appointment but they took me anyway.

So I started off pretty good, had a hard start finding a good vein but with my Raynards ( which is when my finger get very cold).

I did fall asleep 😴 I got a real bad headache I’ve never had a headache when having my infusion. Well my The Ocrevus bag was done so between the nurse and I we figured out what we happening I was dehydrated and so she gave me a bag of saline. I didn’t have all of it but after about 15 minutes I was feeling a little bit better I still had the headache but not as bad.

So off we went home we got something to eat which helped both of.

I’ve been home for about 5 hours I’m doing much better my walking with my ROLLATOR is good, headache if pretty much gone.

I was feeling a tingling feeling in my legs mostly in my thighs, but not painful.

One thing I noticed was while at the hospital my voice was raspy I let the nurse know she asked me if I had any swelling I said know but I told her that it happened last time. She told me to keep an eye on that and if it goes on for awhile let my doctor know and I said I will. She did ask what chair I had my treatment in last time I said this one. She said we will try to change it for next time it could be the heating system. But as of now it’s gone.

I am feeling very good right now.

I just have to get on the move and do my exercise and probably get some PT

I have to take more control with my life and not let this MS take contact of me.

I am so glad my husband takes me to my infusions he is great support for me. Oh I am so glad he was driving.

Hidden So happy that your infusion is now behind you! I, like you, have a very supportive spouse, and I am ever so thankful for that. Traffic in Boston, isn't that a surprise every time that you are in it? Just like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it will get worse! :-D

Oh you are so right about the traffic. It was soooo bad I’m glad I wasn’t driving. When I got to hospital my nurse took my blood pressure and it was high. You have to realize I never have high blood pressure. I looked at the nurse and said that the traffic we went through. She said to me I will take it again in a little while. Which she did an it went down.

I used to drive in Boston traffic in the eighties, and I changed jobs just so I wouldn't have to drive in Boston traffic every day. I am sorry for the people that have to drive in it every single day! No wonder you had high blood pressure! Glad that it's behind you! :-D

Thanks. I’ve been going to my doctor in Boston for 15 years that traffic has gotten so much worse I really don’t know how people do that every day.
