I was looking for someone's post about having an acupuncture treatment, and I can't find it. If you're reading this, how is it going? I started treatments, and the acupuncturist and I have both noticed improvement. Next week I will return to the naturopath for more testing and herbal supplements. I recently

Maybe I shouldn’t post OCALIVA side effects. I’m hoping everyone here knows them
MEDICATION GUIDE OCALIVA (o-CAL-eh-vah) (obeticholic acid) tablets What is the most important information I should know about OCALIVA? If you have primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) with advanced cirrhosis, you may need a lower dose of OCALIVA. • Before you start OCALIVA, and during your treatment

Yervoy update for Stage 4 after Keytruda
My husband was scheduled for the final and 4th round of Yervoy on Friday, but because of the GI side effects and taking 80 mg of prednisone daily to control the inflammation our melanoma oncologist determined that 3 treatments would have to suffice. At first we were surprised, having literally girded

Some promising evidence for fisetin in PD
Fisetin, a naturally occurring antioxidant flavonoid most abundant in strawberries, also available as a supplement, may benefit PD: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22846082 This study describes how foods rich in fisetin and hexacosanol added to a strict diet reversed most symptoms of Parkinson's

Ibrutinib linked to invasive fungal infections

Are you sepsis aware?
Unfortunately I have just witnessed a dear friend of mine almost die from sepsis. I don’t want to frighten any of you but I thought it would be best to share some of the experience here, as he was recently prescribed immune suppressants!!!!! The illness started with a very sore throat. Unable to eat

My best tips for living with asthma
I've noticed that when many people talk about managing their asthma, they name their medicines. I'd never tell anyone to chuck their medicine, and I don't want to decry that approach, but mine differs. I don't mean to sound holier-than-thou either. In a pinch, I'd reach for my rescue inhaler. However
