Acupuncture

I was looking for someone's post about having an acupuncture treatment, and I can't find it. If you're reading this, how is it going? I started treatments, and the acupuncturist and I have both noticed improvement. Next week I will return to the naturopath for more testing and herbal supplements. I recently started going to a health center that specializes in Chinese and naturopathic medicine. If anyone else is going this route, how is it going for you? I don't mean to discourage those getting treatment with western medicine. People should stick with whatever approach works best for them. I switched to holistic healing because I was having too much pressure to get a colonoscopy I wasn't comfortable with. I made an appointment for a colonoscopy consultation, but wound up cancelling it two weeks before because it scared me too much. I also have issues with anxiety.

I have had ibs for several years now and have had all the tests that rule out things other than the ibs diagnosis which the gi specialist said just means that they don't know what is causing it. The only relief has come from acupuncture...it doesn't happen immediately either. I go and then I feel better for awhile. Then I go back. It mitigayes that gnawing stomach pain which just makes me want to stay home in bed. I would recommend trying and seeIng..

It has amazed me how much it helps. It was recommended I go three times a week for nine weeks and then taper off. I agreed to it because I'm tired of suffering and want to be healthy, but the cost is so high. I don't even want to say how much. I'm still digesting it. I paid in advance with my credit card for the money I would save not having a payment plan with them. Now I feel stressed out and depressed because I can't really afford this. I don't know what to do. I might discontinue treatment if they're willing to give me a refund and go back to suffering in silence.

I feel so fortunate because we have a acupunture clinic which is family style. It is only 30 dollars per session...see if there is anything like that.
