Update on my last visit and tests - Hyperthyroidism and Graves
It came back normal and I was given a 7 days of
antibiotics
due to developing tonsillitis as as side effect. I saw the Endocrinologist yesterday 8th January to discuss my journey and what we will do next. My eyes are still very swollen and painful and I lost a stone in weight.

Pseudomonas infection.
Good morning all, l have had a Pseudomonas infection for quite a time and been given stronger
antibiotics
to get rid of it. Unfortunately they have not done the trick, so now l am on a Nebuliser twice a day and will have to be on it for a year, apparently.

bronchiastasis
Since 2019 I’ve had double pneumonia 3 times, sepsis twice and currently sat on a ward waiting for a scan for a possible blood clot on left lung but I’ve also been battling pulmonary effusion for weeks, 2 lots of
antibiotics
haven’t shifted it so now I’m on IV
antibiotics
and diuretics to try and shift

Antibiotics
don’t really help beyond immediately. Next leukaemia doctor chat in three months time. Had covid jab today on top of sinus infection. Tired! Feeling a bit low physically and emotionally. Just so hard to keep up with people who don’t have CLL felt like posting.

Breathing problems
I had A7 day course of
antibiotics
, then a gap but last week more
antibiotics
, steroids and an asthma pump although I don't have asthma. The breathing was definitely improving and I took the last if the meds at 9 this morning. As the day has worn on my breathing has gradually got worse.

out of hospital after pneumonia
Have been receiving
antibiotics
and 30-40 mg of pred daily during my stay. Was released on Monday stating I’ve had nasty case of pneumonia. Instructions on discharge to go back immediately to 5.5 mg of pred which I’ve done. No mention of adrenal crisis in discharge letter.

Post SCT question
My infection markers are normal, I’ve been on various
antibiotics
& had blood cultures taken for viral & bacterial infections, nothing’s been found. They are talking about sending me home, but my temperature is 38.2 this morning, it goes down with paracetamol.

Advice on out of range TSH
Prescribed another course of strong
antibiotics
. This was only a few days before our scheduled return to the U.K. and it was touch and go whether I would be allowed to travel. I was told to see my G.P. as soon as I returned. The day before I travelled back to the U.K.

Feel lost
I am now in pain with lower side backache and after seeing GP on Friday they have given me
antibiotics
as they think it's a kidney infection, and to see them again in a week if not improved. They also don't have my results as the computer systems don't talk to each other.

I could have PMR…
At the hospital they gave me
antibiotics
intravenously and a shot of steroids and sent me home. I got better and had no further PMR symptoms. 4 weeks ago I started to get shoulder pain again. Mostly located on the left side, it came out of nowhere and I just seemed to wake up with it.

Confused .com
I had recently had several different courses of
antibiotics
for a repeated bowt of sinusitis, which I have had chronic issues with and several operations for over 33 years and also oral steroids as asthma was brewing again.

infections caused by endo
My results came back an hour later and my inflammatory makers were very high, so on the strong
antibiotics
again, which in themselves make me feel so unwell.

Which could be because of
antibiotics
I'm permanently on for my cuti or my gallbladder which I'm waiting to be removed. I've had cancer 6mths ago and radical hysterectomy for it. In Jan I had cortisol checked privately which showed low and I haven't known how to treat it.
