Scared and lost
That made me take a good look at myself and admit I was drinking too much; binge drinking at parties, wine with dinner, wine at the weekend for decades… I also mixed very strong
antibiotics
when I had TB (!) with drinks and took Prozac and alcohol for a long time.

low immune
I am on a second dose of
antibiotics
for both the chest infection & UTI. I feel that my immune system is weak as prior to the HA I hardly had any any infections. Does anyone feel the same? Is it normal after a HA? Thanks

Sick day rules after having IV cortisol?
I have had IV
antibiotics
as they found raised infection levels as well as a saline drip. They are repeating bloods tomorrow. At the minute I am on 9.5mg from 10mg which was by DL slow taper. Just put me on oxygen as my oxygen levels are low at 92. Normal is 99.

Still just worried
Why it worries me is I don’t like taking
antibiotics
unnecessarily, but within the last 3 months I’ve had to take them 3 times, before that I managed to avoid them for 12yrs. Now that just don’t seem right to me. I’m in constant pain from when I wake up to when I go to bed.

Rectocele repair surgery
I have a small post op infection in my belly button stitches but have
antibiotics
already and was seen within a couple of hours of contacting the GP to report redness. If anyone has any questions I'm happy to answer them. I'll be honest! I have a follow up with the gynae consultant in 6 months.

Chest Infection and Adrenal Insufficiency
Was put on
antibiotics
, but had an Asthma Exacerbation anyway so attended again as home nebulisers weren't enough. So asked if I should add Prednisolone on top of my Hydrocortisone. No one knows the answer. And I don't know what to do.

Relapse plus UTI
In the months since then have been plagued with constant colds etc (now over all that, finally got
antibiotics
to knock it all on the head), but that seems to have been very common in this country ( NZ) after Covid, and all the isolation etc. Our immunity is very low.

Crohns and dental implants
Now one of his own teeth has an ulcer that has not responded to
antibiotics
. The dentist is making noises about a possible Crohns connection. My husband was on Humira for 3 years a few years ago but is not taking any medication now. Any help or opinions welcome.

4th course of Prednisolone this year
Another 7 days of Pred plus 7 days
antibiotics
just in case it's an infection. This is my 4th course of Pred this year (January, May and 2 now). I had a Spirometry in July. All normal. GP says this shows its well controlled! My asthma seems virus activated?

My 10 year Anniversary is coming up on 7/16/2014. I'm not doing well.
All of these surgeries with anesthesia and
antibiotics
have poisoned my mitochondria and the bacteria produce endotoxins that are damaging my brain, you won't know it by my writing because I can take the time to make corrections. But shit is happening at home that is clearly cognitive decline.

Can bacterial infections cause this?
At the end of September I finished the 6th round of
antibiotics
but am still having problems walking properly. The pain can be at times in my back and my inner thigh /knee, I think since March I probably have had 5 pain free days and walked properly.

15 year AF story
The infection and lung fluid was treated with
antibiotics
, nebuliser and diuretics. Ok to proceed normally confirmed by chest x-ray two weeks after discharge. Then in Nov 2023 further episode of AF. Presented at a different hospital to usual.

TBI Advice
I am concerned that she has an infection, has been on strong
antibiotics
for 3 days with small improvement. The consultant has informed us that they will not give any more
antibiotics
if these don't work. I'm concerned they are giving up on her too quickly.

Update
He agreed it needs sorted so we decided a+e probably best. 18 hours later have had one dose of IV
antibiotics
. Some paracetamol. Still not actually spoken to a Doctor. I'm exhausted from lack of sleep and being sore. Sorry it's not better news.
