Painful tonsil
I have had my throat checked, tried
antibiotics
,blood tested ,referred to nose and throat clinic where doctor put a camera through my nose to throat but they couldnt find anything ,not even swell. Right now if I touch right side of my throat I rate the pain 7/10 I definitely dont imagine this.

I walked in at 11.30, saw the doctor straightaway, he cleaned and put a dressing on it and gave me a prescription for 2 weeks

and antibiotic cream also with prebiotic to protect stomach.

Please help: I have cystitis and having an IBS flare up means taking antibiotic !
I was told by the doctor to take
antibiotics
(100mg nitrofuranroin) for 7 days, and my bowels usually can’t handle
antibiotics
. So I’m quite terrified for taking them, as I get bed bound, but I know I need to take them. Especially with my current flare up. Is there a link to flare ups and UTIs?

frustrated and frightened
I’m just at the end of another round of
antibiotics
and my stomach constantly now looks like I’m about to give birth, so tight and uncomfortable. My bowel had also stopped working but now taking powders from gp that is just about moving it along but this is also excruciating.

Penis Shrinkage and limpness
None of the
antibiotics
seem to work. Oddly enough, Cystopurin seemed to help but that is usually only recommended for women? Have been advised to get a circumcision but was told it wouldn't directly help solve the symptoms.

NEW BLOODS - getting there, but need advice on a few things please!
Why I waited a full 9 weeks:
I waited 6 weeks after a Feb 8-12 cold/cough with
antibiotics
; and 4 weeks after a Feb 26 norovirus (2 days, no medicine for it, 100% gone in 2 days). CRP is low, so is ferritin!) so looks like it didn’t interfere (?).

Overactive thyroid and possibly Graves due to symptoms -not medically diagnosed.
The doctor said I had a sinus infection and gave me
antibiotics
for 7 days. I went for my blood test on Thursday 14th and on Friday an endocrinologist phoned me from the hospital to ask me how I feel???? The results T4-110 , T3>30,8 ,TSH less than 0,02.

Dental extraction
As soon as I come off a week’s worth of
antibiotics
(again) I shall have to have the tooth extracted. From today I’m yet again off Filgotinib - it’s like a merry-go- round - and really, really not looking forward to the extraction.

Getting meds right after quadruple bypass
Hi everyone, I had quadruple bypass on 25th July, home 5 days after, no major issues other than a bit of a stubborn infection in lower chest wound that took 3 lots of
antibiotics
to clear up and heal.

Not Cirrhosis
In the end, we now know a combination of
Antibiotics
destroyed her kidneys. Due to thinking she had cirrhosis, they had dosage values wrong...etc..etc. She had high billis, which was due to a medication reaction, and slightly high GGT, and I mean a few points over normal.

Nocturnal asthma
I have just started taking prednisolone and
antibiotics
for 5 days to see if it calms the flare up. First night after taking these, I woke up 3 times clearing lungs and asthma, and am now anxious to sleep tonight. I have also tried 3 pillows and I sleep on my side.
