Hi all,

my husband is 14 weeks post triple bypass. He’s recovered incredibly well however he has had persistent UTI’s since. He’s been on antibiotics several times but it doesn’t seem to be clearing up. He’s calling the doctor again today but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this?

Thank you ❤️‍🩹

I had a suspected UTI, 9 weeks post CABG. I thought I had pulled a muscle in my side, but paracetamol and voltarol wouldn't touch it. It was like having a knife stabbed in my back.So i went to the GP who found traces of blood in my urine, so probably UTI, given the symptoms. He didn't think it uncommon after surgery?

All cleared up now after a week.

If you're still on pain it might be worth pushing for further investigation. It could be a kidney stone....painful!

Let us know how you get on.🤗

I have had problems with utility in the past and found drinking a glass of Cranberry juice once a day seems to help me not have any more since using it. Hope he gets rid of it soon. Brian
