Pain relief for nerve damage??
I posted a pic of my horrible toe a couple of weeks ago, it's still horrible with no sign of healing. I've had it for a couple of months now, I wish I'd known to get it seen to straight away. However the podiatrist tells me the horrendous pain I get from it is nerve damage, GP prescribed Amitriptyline

Scared
I am not coping with my depression just now, I am starting to pull away from everyone, and into my safe bubble, I am trying hard not to do this, I feel I can't trust anyone, not even my closed friends, I have been badly hurt by someone who, I thought was a great friend, also the one who should understand

Ouch! Steroid injection in my shoulder
Just thought I'd post this as others have questioned joint, shoulder, collarbone/clavicle pain, weakness & tingling in their arm being connected to hypothyroidism. I've been hypo for about 14 years & just discovered I have Hashi's, & a vit D deficiency. I've had pain in my left collarbone & shoulder

Doctors!
So after writing a long list of my symptoms I went to Docs on Thursday. Because I've been having a painful sleepless time the doc said I'm very emotional and depressed. I haven't been diagnosed with fibro and at present have only had blood tests (2 years)) apart). Everything came back clear. I told

Small fibre sensory neuropathy
I am 100% sure this is what my problem is. Saw neurologist nearly two years ago because at that time it was tingling strange sensation in feet and calves, but nothing too painful. All he did was some blood tests and then sent me away - no follow up appointment. At the end of last year I asked GP to

Went to see GP
Went to GP given anti emetics wanted me to try without hydroxychloroquine to see whether alongside MXT caused the increased nausea this week. They also said to restart amitriptyline which I stopped about 4 weeks ago as felt this is causing drowsiness and I felt this was affecting my work. They also asked

Feeling lost: Depression sucks the life out of me.
I'm new here....I've battle with undiagnosed depression since I was 12 (now 20) Last September I finally saw a dr about it and she put me on lexapro and then switched to Amitriptyline 50mg. This past week has been hell. The other day I almost took all my pills just to end things. Thoughts keep running
