I'm new here - Pudendal Neuralgia?
Hello everyone. My post is rather long and cumbersome. Please bear with me. I was born with a subcoronal hypospadias (the urinary opening was not in the proper location). When I was three, I had corrective surgery. I had a very happy, normal childhood. The symptoms, which I shall describe below, first

Headaches
Have had more or less continual headaches for over 3 months. They say if you take too many pain killers you get rebound headaches caused by the pain killers. They checked and didn't find anything. The neuro said they were becoming more common. Just take amitriptyline now which helps me sleep. Also

Ra apparently misdiagnosed what could it be
Hi guys my wife's rheumy just told her after 2yrs that she probably doesn't have ra but something else. Her joints are fine with no deformity or weakness. However she has pain in her back which has lasted for a week now. She has been prescribed amitriptyline 10mg. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello everyone, I would like to see what everyone can recommend with my current issues in regards to IBS; Background info: I may have developed a habit since 2011/2013, the most memorable one was how I occasionally needed to go to the bathroom (number 2) while eating breakfast (I eat around 10 minutes

Neuropathic pain in MS
Since my diagnosis in 2016 I have constant neuropathic pain around my trunk. I take the full dose of Pregabalin, Amitriptyline for the pain but nothing works. I have also tried TeNs, hot/cold therapies , mindfulness works up to a point. I do not want to progress to Morphine patches but know they are

Gabapentine & Amitriptyline
I've just been started on gabapentine 100mg 3 X a day. I also take 50mg of Amitriptyline at night. It seems a lot. My mood seems a bit off so I'm not sure if it's the pills or not. Wot symptoms do others have. Any feed back would be good

New doctor
Finally saw a new doctor on Monday. My original Doctor retired last year, the next one retired not long after him. So I gave up until the pain got too much. But he was great. He's referring me back to a consultant and to the pain clinic. He's also started me on Amitriptyline

Neuro appointment results
So I've been battling with chronic headaches for over 6 months now and have finally seen a neurologist which I have been counting down the days to see and I must say I was $300 out of pocket and disappointed $300 for her to say "You suffer from tension and migraine headache disorder caused by stress

SLE, SJÖGREN and Periphery Neuropathy/ Poly -Neuropathy.
I have been on here for quite a while responding to your many posts, and all of a sudden I am blown away by a missed diagnosis. For years I am having lost sensations in fingers , toes, overall reduced feeling in my skin, inexplicable heat on my chest which was wiped away as being a menopausal symptom

Hi guys I thought I would let you know, I've been on antidepressants for on and off the whole 20 years that I've been hypo because my doctors told me I was depressed even though my complaint was fatigue, I rang them today and told them I've reduced my dose right down and to take them off my prescription
